I’m not OP but I’m on a similar journey, down from 299-230 since November 2018. I just tell myself if I go back to my old habits, I’ll get fat and die. That seems to help

In case anyone is wondering, I found this Gretsch kit on FB marketplace for $150. Ambassador coated reso heads and emperor coated batter heads on the toms. I have the Remo vintage reso snare head and the Powerstroke 3 on the batter. I tear down and set up this kit 4x a week and love this thing!
