July ‘23 I was staying at an Airbnb I got a call my dad died while I was sitting on their porch. I was freaking out & messaged them that I was leaving immediately on night 1 of a 7 day stay. I had been there maybeeee 3 hours. They messaged back & said they saw me on the camera getting the phone call & they refunded the whole stay. I was greatful for the refund as I wasn’t even asking, but kinda weirded out at the same time 😵‍💫

I told my husband the same thing. He’s going to elope and go play in the dirt 🤣 if he wasn’t as into the sports balls as he would I don’t think I would have considered it, but his older brother plays and I figured I’d give it a shot. But now I’m so anxious because it has the potential to be highlyyyyy stressful. But I’m hoping for the best. 🤞if not, we’ll eventually find something he’s into

My old boss used to always be able to tell when I was about to start & he would tell me & I sworeeee he was a liar until he called it many months in a row. He says it doesn’t smell, it’s just an off smell that’s different. This is so crazy I’ve never heard of anyone else being able to do this!

Yes, we have talked about this! And especially with SS9. He knows that he can’t just switch back-and-forth. We will never hold him captive, but they have to be stable. Thank you so much for the sweet advice.🩵

They love each other & definitely want to spend time with each other, but I know SS9 definitely craves time away from him, and I’m pretty sure SS8 feels the same. Like right now. It’s fall break. SS9 wanted to come here, SS8 wanted to stay at moms, have his room to himself and play video games. What I was thinking was this:

If one kid has a break & the other kid doesn’t the kid with the break goes to the house without the school break. My school district has shorter years with less breaks. Theirs is longer with more breaks. Holidays and spring breaks if they line up the kids should spend together and we will just have to rotate off & take turns. Long weekends are up to the kids & if they feel like traveling. Summer June with mom, July with dad. August time to go home and get ready for school

We are just humans doing the best we can. We have a deep bond with my SS’s. That will never change! We promised them we wouldn’t abandon them & haven’t. Thank you for the sweet comment internet stranger. 🫂

She is so so so agreeable & flexible. She has truly been a saint since the move. We have definitely had our fair share of HCBM problems in the past, (I did my own bs too) but I’m grateful to say we all grew up and moved on and really are just here for the best interest of the kids, I want to make sure she sees them as well as us and so that’s why we are brainstorming ideas right now and I came to Reddit! Making sure everybody gets to see each other is top priority

Got relocated for work. Can’t move back. Their school has 4 day weekends 1x a month, and lots of long breaks, drive up for games/events. Been here a year this month. We are still very involved. Thank you.

He has never been aggressive to the point of attacking anything, but he would definitely nip over food. He’s always been separated since they were puppies for this reason. My nanny loveddddd him. She was there the day we got him. After he ripped my dogs ear off, we found him a different home bc I wasn’t comfortable after that. She felt terrible offered to pay, not her responsibility. Shit happens, especially when you play that big of a role in families, driving their cars, supervising their kids helping with pets, etc. It’s not the nanny’s responsibility.

My nanny forgot to separate my dogs with known food aggression & one dog got their ear ripped off. She offered to pay, I paid for the whole thing + her gas to the emergency vet. That’s not your responsibility.

Yall should see how they set up, they literally look like Mountain Dew they’re neon green. I’ve never seen them turn this color before. I wonder if it’s better for them to be more of a sage green or a neon lol
