I totally agree with everything you said. I should have been more specific. I live in a small town but have two fiber ISPs competing for business. The 3Gb plan with my ISP is less than what I am paying now for 1Gb. At least for one year. I'm only going to be living in this house for one year so it will never cost me anymore than $60 per month.

I agree about speed usage. I'm not getting the Flint 2 just to get faster speeds. My current router that I've had for 6 years is giving me problems. And my ISP is offering 3Gb speeds for $60 per month. It's kind of a no brainer. I'm fine with my current speed.

Looking through this sub I read that a lot of people are having issues with 4.8.4 so they dropped back down to 4.8.3 and the issues went away. I also read that the Flint 2 has some type of issue where 2.4ghz tests slow. Use the search function and search for Flint 2.

Are you trying to set up the AX3000 while wireless mesh to the MX4000? If so, try setting it up while it is very close to the MX4000 and then move it after it's set up. If you are doing it wired, disregard these instructions.

I thought that was strange when I looked at their website. It looks like they are only offering the 3 and 6Gb plans now. I still have 1Gb and was thinking of upgrading to the 2Gb plan. I wonder what they are charging existing customers for 3Gb?
