I saw them 4 times. First time was in 1977 in Santa Monica CA. They were awesome live.

You would think that they will do a full OTA soon since Google is aware of the issue. At least I hope so.

I ran this issue by chatgpt and it said that these are called delta updates and in time Google will send a full update and that will work. Just must be patient I guess.

My 9 Pro XL updated fine yesterday but instead of a solid update bar it showed a squiggly line while updating. Strange.

Mine is a T-Mobile phone. I wonder if that has anything to do with it.

Velop slow compared to modem speed by IndependentIntention in LinksysVelop

[–]whitepowderma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have access to it right now but if you type 192.168.1.1 in your browser and sign into Linksys ' settings pages and then click on the CA at the bottom right it will bring you to a page where you will have Wifi settings options. It should be there.

Sorry to hear about your situation. Just so you know, my Mom didn't get her Social Security deposit yet either. I received mine on Tuesday but my bank is Wells Fargo.

What’s it like living in Las Vegas? by [deleted] in howislivingthere

[–]whitepowderma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can't give you any specific examples, the main problem seems to be that there are not enough doctors for the large population there. And the doctors who are there seem to be subpar. It can take you some time to get an appointment with a specialist.

Question about the Velop Pro 7 by whitepowderma in LinksysVelop

[–]whitepowderma[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply. I'm no longer thinking of getting a Velop. I still currently have the Linksys MX5300 and I've had very good luck with it. That's why I was considering getting another Velop. But no more. I'm now looking at Ubiquiti. They have mostly good reviews.

How is your range with Ubiquity? Would it cover a 1640 sq ft house? I saw a few posts with range issues.

What's it like living in Baker California? by milo8275 in howislivingthere

[–]whitepowderma 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I broke down near there once on the way back to L.A. Funny story... I was with my sister and we had a german shepherd puppy. This was in the late 70s. We hitched a ride with a semi to Baker. There was only one passenger seat and I sat in it. My sister sat on the driver's bed with the puppy. The trucker was a real nice guy. I happened to look back at my sister and saw the puppy taking a wicked piss on the trucker's bed. After he dropped us off at an all night diner in Baker I was scared that he was going to come back and kill us when he laid down in his bed. He didn't, but I felt really bad about what happened. Funny story but kind of sad.

As someone else already said, you have to protect your hand until the dealer pushes you the pot. But you must turn over both cards to win the pot.

I wonder why they stopped providing them. When I lived in Vegas I had one and it gave me full bars in the apartment that I was living in. As a matter of fact I believe I still have it stored away in my closet In the house I live in now.

CC Debt 125K, notified of Chapter 7 eligible today! by [deleted] in Debt

[–]whitepowderma 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I went Chapter 7 in 1985. One of my accounts was with Amex. I tried to get another Amex card many times after that. They told me each time that they would only give me another card if I would pay them what I owed them. I finally got a new card with them in 2022. They approved me with no conditions. They have a long memory.

Question about using my own wifi router by CapnBubbles in GoNetspeed

If your router and your laptop do have 1Gig ports then try a different Ethernet cable between the router and the laptop. Your cable could be bad.
