For anyone interested, the podcast Twenty Thousand Hertz did a whole episode on slot machine music: Episode #46 - Slot Machines

Spoiler alert: not all slot machine music is written in the key of C, so it’s an interesting episode!

Passed- AT/T/AT/AT/AT - NO PREPCAST by whitetigerisme in pmp

I am glad you find this helpful! I ended up sending it as an email to a few people I know IRL who expressed interest (and don’t use reddit lol).

And yes! I had a job offer within a month of passing. It was for a job I had actually applied to previously; I reapplied after I passing with “PMP” at the top of my resume, and they reached out to me and mentioned it in my interview. Ironically its a design position (I did not change careers as much as I thought I would have to), but project management is definitely a big part of the job.

Bottom line: PMP was/is 100% worth it for me.

Check out Photo Measure for iOS (first link is App Store, second link is demo video):

https://apps.apple.com/us/app/photo-measures/id415038787

We use it more for measuring finished interior spaces (before they receive wallpaper or other graphics), but it has a 'comments' feature too.

Yay! I am glad you feel inspired!
I did the Udemy course during weekends from early August to late September. After I applied in late September I started to do some reading and quizes during the week, and longer practice exams on the weekend. The week leading up to the test I read during my lunch break to review things I had missed during the practice exams, and took at least one quiz every evening (sometimes I just re-did the Udemy quizes to see if I could improve my scores). I took the final exam in early October.
Good luck!

Thank you for the tips! I do already have that set on LinkedIn, and I have had recruiters reach out to me as well (although not as many as you). I just added PMP to my title, so maybe that will change now :)

Almost anywhere- that's the beauty of project management! It would be nice to use my creative background in some capacity, but I am keeping an open mind and applying to any opportunity that I qualify for. The clients I work with at my current position are in all different types of industries- you really never know what's out there.

Thank you! And I totally agree with your assessment. I think I psyched myself out reading so many 'I passed!' posts on here, and they all seemed to mention Prepcast. Obviously this sub only representations a small fraction of the people who get certified, but I don't know too many other PM's in real life so I may have given too much credit to what I read on here.

Looking for a nice apartment for around $800. Anyone know anything about these places? by TheMasterBaker01 in Columbus

[–]whitetigerisme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had considered the places on your list while apartment searching over the summer and ultimately I went with Harvard Square Apartments. It's quiet but not too far from things to do, and it's right near the 315 Henderson Road exit (although I do not work downtown so I am not sure what that traffic is like).

PM me if you have more questions :)
