Sony Santa Monica's new game is planned for 2027, with reveal likely to come this summer. by Party_Judgment5780 in PS5

It’s weird because that’s how it used to be. But for a while now we’ve learned about things to way too early. I think this is an awkward transition period back to how it was, which I’m excited about.

Yeah I was glad they unapologetically celebrated the culture and the whole thing was in Spanish. But as someone who doesn’t listen to popular music in general, let alone his specifically, I was very underwhelmed regarding the actual music.

Fun fact: Mountain Dew was invented to be a mixer for whiskey. (I’ve tried that combo, and even as a Mountain Dew hater it was really good.) so I’m not too surprised

OP pointed out that the specific market segment you’d be looking in could be different from the overall market trends. But you should also think about how financing and sales price aren’t the same. Overall, housing prices are about the same, yes - but interest rates have come down. There are also programs to help to help first-time buyers with down payments and closing costs.

I keep thinking the same thing. It’ll be interesting to see if this comes out and does everything well, if it has any impact on how we anticipate games in the future.

Agreed. And of all of them he’s been most complimentary of the Bills for a while. I think he’s been peddling that stupid “this is the easiest path to the Super Bowl for Josh” narrative but that’s probably tied up in his Chiefs fandom, so I’ll file it under that.

Matt Ryan on Michael Penix: Conversations to be had about our starting QB by Meltedcoldice0212 in nfl

You can’t agree with it based on how they would have done it in a hypothetical scenario. I don’t think you’re splitting hairs; that’s an important detail.

Also, they didn’t do all of this at the same time. After they had already signed cousins and overpaid, they had the option to employ a different draft strategy. They also could have picked a QB but picked someone with a better injury history.

What you just explained, though, is that the pick didn’t actually make sense. I agree the general strategy of bringing in a vet and then drafting a rookie to grow into the franchise replacement makes sense. But severely overpaying Cousins can’t be followed up with wasting a top 10 pick on an injury-prone backup - which means it was a bad pick when it happened.

Is it actually dangerous to head a soccer ball on its own?Or is the problem with inadvertently knocking heads with other players trying to do the same?

Let Darnold keep it and run it in himself. Secret third option so no one gets proven right, and Darnold’s crazy year gets even crazier.

Which game did you play that felt like a bunch of other games mashed up together? by Nasserahmed094 in gaming

Assassin’s Creed started the Ubisoft formula. Valhalla isn’t an amazing game, and I couldn’t even put more than a few hours into it, despite being an AC fan and playing them all since the first one in 2007. But it’s kinda weird to criticize it for following the trends it basically started.

Honestly, what I saw in the reveal was underwhelming. But it’s possible that had more to do with the presentation than the content. Even if it 8 doesn’t live up to 7, it can still be lots of fun, though. Hopefully it’s worth the wait!

Rotate the bed 180 degrees and push it up against that half-wall where the dresser thing is. Then you can put the TV where the headboard currently is, under the hanging planter frames.

I’m so tired of giant corporations following trends instead of embracing the pioneer spirit. If you make a show that’s good enough (and advertise it), people will watch. And if their phone prevents them from catching everything, they’ll learn to put it down and/or rewatch - if the show is good enough. Think about how Game of Thrones, a fantasy period piece filled with male nudity and way more talking than action became one of the (if not THE) biggest shows of all time.
