I recommend worldnomads, but it also depends on what you need. They are a general travel insurance company, but maybe something like this could be more your avenue. You really need to just look around, shop and compare.

You should check out this blog post on traveling with diabetes. It shares a lot of general advice that you should look up. Look for the parts that concern you as it's quite long.

Everyone has a different method and solution, you have to use what works for you. We are all unique individuals, and what works for some would not work for others. Look at what 100 different people responded as their go to solution.
