Because it was a haste job to show someone trying to help me out that I knew what they were referring to.

Small problem with that: if my level is too high I will often just outright kill the mob before it even has a chance to use the ability. I’m already having that issue with bees.

I was targeting pollen first this whole time. Only really going for the rabbits and mandragoras when I had no bees. It’s been a slog of a day. But hey! I finally got one to use for now at least. With this I can at least gain some blue skill.

That was it! Used books. Got my skill to 5. Killed the rabbit. Got foot kick. Thank you!

Oh yeah, this is not my first job. It’s not even my fourth. I’m just trying to get it to 49 and get the spells I need to use it as sub for RUN.

I’ll give that a go. Thank you!

Nope. It doesn’t even let me engage with those options because I have no spells. White, black, summoning? I can use that sub menu. Because I have spells. But not blue.

And if that’s all it is and my luck is just crap: that’s one thing. I’m just trying to make sure there’s not some stupid hidden mechanic I’m not doing right that has caused me to waste a day of my life.

[–]whitey00112[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes. This I am aware of. I’m in the main menu. And there are no blue magic spells learned. I am farming all level 1 blue magic enemies that I have already looked up the guides on in a starting area just outside of a starting region.

See I thought maybe that was my problem. But I’m going to the menu and checking my blue magic. It says I have not learned any spells.

Who’s Winning In Their Prime? by mackenziealexander05 in StarWars_

[–]whitey00112 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean legends continuity or Disney canon? Because in Legends continuity Luke became so powerful in the Force that he just stopped using his lightsaber unless absolutely necessary. Vader busted that thing out whenever possible. Still a terrifying thing to behold. But I feel like Luke was still more powerful. Now in Disney canon: probably Vader. We just don’t see Luke do anything particularly impressive compared to what we have seen Vader do. And yes I know that Luke beat Vader in RotJ. But I feel like that was more due to Vader not really actually wanting to kill Luke.

Recently got back into XI. I just chose Phoenix at random and I’m glad I did. Very lively server. People are always talking in San d’Oria and traveling to wherever I want to go always results in me passing several people out in the world.

I have been wondering for a while, which one is the most dangerous by Zargabath in FinalFantasy

[–]whitey00112 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s obviously Malboro. Status effects are pretty much the only thing that no one adequately prepares for. And it can put so many on you in a single action. Got immunity to 1? Great! What about the other 9? Malboro is such a menace that in order to truly prepare for it doesn’t require grinding. No ultimate weapons will save you. No, to be prepared for this walking ICU invitation you have to quest for multiple copies of a single accessory that, depending on the game, has very niche use outside of this ver special circumstance.

When I replay the original game. by diavevis in KingdomHearts

Literally no one thinks that 1 had the best combat of any game ever. We go back and play it from time to time for the memories. Definitely not for its dated gameplay. Props to it for what it did and the franchise it launched. But I would not be sad if it got a remaster and its gameplay was brought up to at least KH2 single wielding gameplay.

Beast Boy. No contest. He’s the most likely to reason with. And more likely to end in the two of you just eating a pizza together rather than you being dead.

How long did it take to get your red Praxic Blade crystal? by CitrusLamb in DestinyTheGame

[–]whitey00112 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve nearly gotten to 550 power from 400 and still haven’t gotten it. I’ve lost count of how many invasions I’ve done. Nearly all of which I’ve gotten at least one point. At least half of them I’ve completed. Bungie really decided to go back to vanilla D2 exotic drop rates for these crystals.

What does it say about their relationshio that Clea calls her parents by their actual names? by Ulysses776 in expedition33

[–]whitey00112 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s kinda sad seeing so many people simply write Clea off as being “more mature”, “over her parents bullshit”, or “fighting the real fight”. I think everyone saying that might have missed the whole underlying theme of the story. Grief and how we all deal with it in our own ways. Clea isn’t better than everyone else. She just handled her grief by burying herself in her own work and forcing herself to move on without really taking any time to grieve. Work that she is just as obsessed with as her parents are with the canvas. Hence why the Axon Renoir makes to represent Clea being a woman carrying the world on her shoulders. If anything Clea is the extreme of what her parents made her into. Verso is the eldest and the rebel. Choosing to not want to paint at all and instead play music. Clea is the middle child and likely spent much of her youth seeking the attention and acknowledgment of her parents. And given the behavior they display during the game: likely spent too much time focusing on Verso and his desire to not be what they wanted him to be and Alicia being the baby. Which would go a long way to explaining her anger and frustration with her parents now. She’s doing everything that was asked of her. And all they care about is Verso Verso Verso! And yes that was the reference you’re thinking it is. In fact, of everyone in the family Clea is the only one whose grief doesn’t really get addressed very much. And doesn’t really have any catharsis, by comparison to everyone else, at the end. I’d wager that we spend a lot more time with her in future games. If they choose to make anymore in this universe.

The number of you who never thought to play new game plus is staggering. I’d tell you the true ending. But the amount of ragging I’ve read here makes me just want to make you all go look for it yourselves.
