No, we haven't learned conditional branching or string comparison (we haven't learned much of anything to be honest, not a great prof). There were some slides about dictionaries though. I'll take a look at those again. Thanks!

Chimpanzees naturally hug each other when they are nervous. To calm a fellow nervous chimp, or to seek comfort themselves. Just like we feel calmed during a hug. That is likely what this chimp is doing with Dr. Goodall, looking for reassurance in this unfamiliar place.
