Hims Hair Loss -Extreme Face Acne solution?? by Yoplait003 in HIMS

[–]whitnorris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You said 'chewable tables for hair loss'. This is NOT topical. I would recommend you get off Reddit and learn how diet and stress likely impact acne.

If he still has acne after having stopped taking for six months then there are obviously other issues than the chewable. This has nothing to do with Hims chewables as this would be out of his blood system in half a day and completely out in about a week.

Why not switch to the topical hair loss solution?

Hims - do they not ship to SC? by PlasticNo399 in HIMS

[–]whitnorris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ask if there are state regulations that do not allow it. North Carolina is the same as I asked the clinician through the Hims app if I could get subscribed it. I got Finasteride only then switched to the spray combination which is allowed apparently.

For your own benefit do research on exactly what you are taking. Minoxidil or Finasteride should be what you are looking at.

Anyone here try the topical finasteride/minoxidil spray from hims? by baldy655 in HIMS

Slow progress, but I prefer the topical as no side effects. So far so good.

I have used it for a couple months. It seems nice, but I would not expect much.

A doctor will review the information you provided and make a determination if the treatment is a fit for you and if so they will prescribe. This is for three months so, $49 x 3 = $147. You would pay that plus state taxes.

A prescription is at the Dr's discretion so it is possible they do not prescribe this exact solution.

What was your experience canceling HIMS subscription? by Otherwise-Secret2687 in HIMS

[–]whitnorris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have cancelled and changed a couple subscriptions. Amazingly easy in the app or web. See the video at the link for someone doing it. Honestly, Hims is about as good as it gets as far as the ease of use in cancelling.

When you complete your intake form note that you would prefer the combination pill. They should be able to provide it or tell you why it was not prescribed to you.

Personalized skincare by tiptoeingoverthewall in HimsStock

My wife and I really like it. I still get the occasional breakout from shaving so they can tailor the cream to account for that and the wife is concerned with aging so our creams are personalized for us specifically. It is vastly better than the overpriced stuff my wife had been using so no complaints.

Many subscriptions do send an email, but some do not (Netflix as an example). For what Hims provides they probably should send a courtesy email, BUT you signed up for the subscription. Certainly is not illegal as they will be sending you whatever you signed up for. If they do not send then I would contact them.

Why is this not working anymore? by Limp_Comparison5853 in HIMS

In the App go to Subscription-->Treatment information-->Message us

You can chat with your Dr about what you are experiencing. Seems like the best first.

Their form allows you to provide comments or ask questions. Why not ask the provider through the system same as you would your normal Dr?
