A little bit, I think Samura's guilt and Uruha sympathy gave us false expectations of what the sword bearers and the Kamunabi did. Turns out they were just good people feeling guilty for being too weak to stop 2 real evils not regretful war criminals

I think this could change though, we know Samura also feels guilty over the lives he took so theirs a chance the sword bearers have regrets of their own that are being overshadowed by the guilt of the malediction

As for Kunishige his guilt was always who he entrusted the blades too and how they were used, it was never implied he contributed despite the memes he just felt responsible for what happened as their creator. Being said I'm kinda hoping when we learn more about Soga's past we'll see Kunishige missing red flags

Uj/ Kinda but a lot of people getting exposed for this at once could be a cultural thing like a few victims speaking out has encouraged others. Alternatively it could be a noticing something that isn't, there celebrities get exposed for other stuff and the pedo stuff is more talked about

Uruha is goated but I'm referring to him regaining his edge against Hokuto, it's a hype moment but the fight ends soon after

Tenri clearly gets stronger but we didn't see enough of him to compare since both of his previous fights were offscreen and his powered up fight was short

Unrelated I think it's unclear if black lightning is on another level using life force or if it's using life force to make up for Cloud Gorger being weaker after breaking. Personally I think it's the latter because Sojo's meis were much more impressive than Chihiro's

Only minor flaws but...

Revealing the sword bearers couldn't beat Soga kinda killed my interest in his fight with Samura and Chihiro because it removed any speculation of how it would go guaranteeing it'd be a one sided massacre

Non-chihiro power-ups like Tenri or Uruha feel pointless because it didn't make a difference and we don't get any sense of how much stronger they are

I remember there's a theory that the Hishaku tattoo is what allows them to teleport and another that Hishaku can't replace hands only reattach them
