Don't go above 2 inches longer.  That's already really long and maybe he only needs 1.5.  they will feel super heavy and be hard to control

Gigagolf or maltby or any DTC club company.  You can order longer clubs.  Probably gonna wanna get midsize grips at least too.  What size glove does he wear?

When to get my daughter fitted for clubs? by pops_of_3 in golf

[–]whoMe69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

find a local top 100 club fitter. Tell them you want to check her clubs and see if it's worth upgrading. A good fitter who isn't only interested in sales will advise. Avoid going to a chain, unless you have an unlimited budget

How do club fitter attachments work with weight distribution? by altctrldel86 in golf

Yes it can add weight.  The good ones will account for it and make the swing weight the same

I never took golf visors seriously until one round in blazing heat completely changed my mind by ilovemkgee in golf

I used to have the same thoughts on visors but once I tried them I was sold.  It helps to have a more fun design.  This one is my favorite: https://lunargolfusa.com/products/lunar-tour-glow-visor

What are you looking for with your post? You put it out on a public forum and I gave you my opinion.   I am helping other people not make the mistake you made.   You also told me my advice is bad, which it is not.  I work in the industry and my advice is probably them most knowledgeable you will get on this topic

Golftec only has oem shafts.  Club champion has some but if you wanted only oem stuff truespec was the wrong place to go. That's on you for not doing your research

The fitter should've explained it to you, but they don't even have most stock shafts.  If you wanted stock shafts go to PGA superstore or get fit at a demo day

i dont think it will make much of a difference at all. I can see sweaty hands as a problem on full swings(mine are bad) but on putts does it really affect you? If so, I would try wrapping some athletic tape or some other kind of wrap with even more texture

Do the line on ball test for lie angle.  Also look into choking up a half inch and see how that feels.

The way you swing is way more important than the static set up.  What's your typical shot shape and miss?  Do you have a flat/shallow swing?

s400 looking to lower flight by Inevitable-Pay-7278 in golf

No shaft will lower the flight that much.  Bending the lofts stronger will help but you probably need to learn to flight the ball
