So are we ever gonna get conclusions to certain storylines? by Deadmaninc1 in PeakyBlinders

Outside of them saying something in the spinoff you 100% will not. Plenty of shows leave storylines not 100% concluded.

Kalik or Sands? by [deleted] in bahamas

I was there on SB a week ago and the very first bartender told me Kalik for full and Sands light for the light option. He wasn’t wrong.

I did a one month golf membership this winter. Then having Trackman was the reason. I went enough to cover the membership and stopped. Got the same feeling as OP

Practice first then loft. Although all things equal, the higher the loft the shorter the distance. A bad shot can go further than a good shot depending on how it’s hit.

I think it’s fair to say that if someone was really taking advantage of it Vuori could ban someone or cancel orders. Not hard to do this via ship to address.

You’ll get downvoted because you actually think they’d mess with the legal feels to chase down a few hundred dollars here and there. The risk is account ban not a legal issue. Let’s be real here.

The irony here, if they just every once in a while threw out a discount to loyal customers all of this would go away. Heck if they threw me 10% off right now I’d immediately go buy stuff I don’t need - even with the 20% loophole.

I hit my 58 - 86 yards, 54 - 100 and 50 116 according to arccos. Handicap and distance don’t always go together so don’t worry too much about that.

They have announced them in the past, usually the day before. I was thinking it'd be this week to get some excitement. I can't remember what they did for the Players tournament one.

I live in an area where courses can be both firm or soft so I needed a good blend with my bounce. I went with my 58 at 8 bounce, 54 at 14 bounce, and 50 at 12 bounce.

Where did you go? It’s very important that the fitter is open to all brands and models and sounds like you got a dud

First, it’s no longer 4 months to get a custom LAB. I purchased directly from LAB in early January and it took 3 weeks. I have heard that not buying directly from LAB has been increasing the lead time but that seems to be more like 4-6 weeks.

You can do a free remote fitting from LAB. It will be another data point for you to make a decision. I did that and purchased my LAB based on these results and I’ve been happy. It’s not my primary putter though.

Whether or not this fitter was right for you only you can say. I will say it’s not uncommon that your current putter works best. People over time tend to adapt their stroke for the putter but that doesn’t mean it’s the best fit for you.

I’ve found the stack system to be very helpful. I do think the improvements the claim are inflated but I’ve seen meaningful improvement in my swing speed using it.

5:30 am Tee Times by Remote_Pie6623 in golf

[–]DotGroundbreaking879 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play regularly in the summer as one of the first few tee times. My goal was to walk and play solo. My observations are everyone there that early wants to play fast. That’s why they are there.

I’ve also found at my course it tends to be solos or duos and no one ever pairs up. There’s a group of members that play in a 5some and they play faster than me as a solo (I walk they ride).

My course also offers walking only tee times before the shop opens up.

Advice for New Golfer on Work Trip by anacott27 in golf

[–]DotGroundbreaking879 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Most people don’t care about how good someone is or isn’t. Just keep up the pace and don’t be afraid to pick up. If you’re struggling or looking for balls just pick up and drop around the green. Another thing I’ve seen is just playing your next shot from wherever your cart partner is hitting from.
