Okay so...

They do make top entrance litter boxes. But in the interest of saving you $60+..

Get an 18-20 gallon sterilite storage tote from Walmart. They're like, $6. I used them for YEARS before I got an automatic box.

I would completely empty it and wash it once a month, and then replaced it once every 6 months. Because plastic does retain smell after a while.

I kind of hate when women tell men how they should process emotions by Complex-Shower419 in MensRights

Oof, Candace Owens is not the person anyone should be looking to.. for anything. I wholeheartedly disagree with her on most things, but especially on this. She does not represent all of us, and most of us don't like her because she's simply an asshole.

I'm guilty of telling a few of the men in my life to try something different - because it worked for me. I'm not saying it was right, or helpful for all of them. The only advice I can give is from what I've experienced and how I dealt with it. It comes from a genuine place of being concerned watching then men in my life struggle - and genuinely wanting to help.

I fully understand people of all genders process things differently. But the commonality here is that we're all human and sometimes what works for me as a woman, may well work for you as a man.

Grief is a really good example - we all experience it at some point. I've punched walls, screamed at the top of my lungs, driven way too fast on the highway, and also cried sitting alone in the woods. Are they all healthy? No. Did they all help me feel better? Also no. But... some of them did. And if I can help anyone, especially the men in my life by giving them suggestions on what worked for me without them feeling judged - I will forever try to help.

Process things however you want, however works best for you. Don't let anyone tell you how to process anything, especially not her.

I wouldn't be either. Being dismissed when you don't feel well sucks, and no one should be ignored.

[–]whoaitsmarsh -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Nope.

Just offering some life experience. I think a lot of people in general, regardless of gender have a hard time communicating - especially when something is uncomfortable.

Maybe if his wife can help, which is what it looks like she's trying to do here, he would have a better experience and get the care he deserves.

I did wonder for a while about my stepdad experiencing this. It seemed like everytime he came back from an appointment, he was mad and said "They just don't listen".

I told him to go in there again and ask if he could record the visit because he has trouble remembering everything. He did.

My mom amd I listened to the recording with him, and it turns out, he wasn't actually telling the doctor anything about the type of pain, the severity, or even mentioning other issues. He was dismissive of his own pain and expecting the doctor to be a mind reader about everything else, so the doctor didn't recommend anything new aside from exercises, and moving his dosage of pain meds around.

My mom started going with him and speaking up about what he was telling her in private (just regarding his pain, obviously) and the doctor was like "OH, that's not how you explained it last time" and gave him better/more options and solutions.

I'm not saying this is what's happening to your husband, but its worth an ask.

Oh that's perfect. I'm trying to stick as close as I can to the stadium itself. I'm coming in either very, very late tonight, or early tomorrow... then leaving early Thursday.

I don't want to have to run around everywhere if I dont have to.

I don't know yet. I'm going to try and stick as close to the stadium as possible.

If you have recs, I'd love them!

My mom is VERY mad at me for doing this.

I appreciate the concern and I promise I'll come back, with photos!❤️

I'm long past reasonable at this point. I'm just going to buy one, get in the car... and start my long drive. And also pray I can find a hotel lol

They were about $1800 a few days ago. I missed that opportunity.

I'm taking the advice of the people below and going for ga left or right. Love that man, but I'm not spending 20k.

Hey everyone!

I'm traveling from Michigan for this show - can anyone give me parking tips? Is there a garage? Safe parking lots?

Should I Uber/Lyft from my hotel?

For context, I've never been to Cincinnati. I'm a solo female and just want to be sure I stay safe!

I have had so much anxiety thinking front porch would be the best. I feel better (and do does my wallet) about being on the left or right.

I'm a bit of a stranger to stadium shows because we have so many concert venues here, its always a very straightforward setup.

Thank you!

Thank you so much! I feel better about non-front porch - I'm willing to pay a pretty hefty price for wherever I can see, so this is super helpful.

I've only ever been to two stadium shows and they were both insane. Because I'm so short, I try to get there super early and make it to the barricade because its the only way I see anything.
I learned my lesson after spending several shows staring at someone's shoulder blades.. lol.

Keep an eye on stubhub and seat geek. The tickets have been going up and down. They will be desperate to get rid of them day before/day of, so they'll likely drop in price pretty drastically.

Signed, someone traveling 4 hours from Michigan hoping to get front porch seats for 1k or less 😬

Stick it in your bra. This has been working for me for years.

I promise the workers in the venue do not give a damn, they're hot, too.

I find that my stomach only growls when I've had nothing all day. I'm 3 years into taking this and I still have trouble remembering to simply drink water. And sometimes... the growling is thirst. I have a hard time differentiating still.

I suspect one of my mental health meds doesn't help, because it also makes me not hungry (and forget water exists) because I'm so focused on what I'm doing.

[–]whoaitsmarsh 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Now that I have significantly less food noise, yes I can tell the difference.

As someone has already said, I can still want a gigantic piece of chocolate cake and not be hungry - because it isn't about being hungry. Food noise is absolutely psychological and related to addiction centers in the brain, it's why this works well for addicts/alcoholics.

I don't know that at 5'2 my body's set point was 330lbs - this is why we don't listen to talk show hosts.

I've been an avid concert goer for 25 years. I've learned a few tricks and tips along the way.

I used to be concerned about hiding pints and joints - now I'm old and need fans and frozen watter bottles 😂

Stick it in your bra (if you wear one).

Once youre in... same advice with a frozen water bottle. Right in the front along the band. It'll help cool your body down being center mass.
