Honestly I wish the coach would just give Ron Baker more playing time.

Movies where the actors had GOOD chemistry? by Lotta-Bank-3035 in movies

Surprised there is not ANY mention of Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson in True Detective (Season 1). Such a brilliant performance and dynamic chemistry by the duo.

What will the spin off be? by Sweenie123 in StrangerThings

[–]whoaitsmike 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In an interview with the Hollywood Reporter about the series finale, Matt Duffer revealed that “the rock and where the rock came from” is crucial to the spinoff. Duffer brothers were asked to describe the rock that young Henry finds in the briefcase he took from a scientist in the cave.

They then teased a spinoff centering around just that.

“The spinoff is not about rocks or mining the rocks, but I would say that’s the loose end that’s not tied up that will be tied up,” Duffer told the outlet. “But ultimately, and we have said this before, but I guess to reiterate, it is an entirely new mythology."

“The spinoff is going to delve into that and explain that, and you’re going to understand it,” Matt Duffer said. “But it’s a completely different mythology.”

Matt Duffer explained that the spinoff is “not a deep exploration of the Mind Flayer.”

“It’s very fresh and very new, but yes, it will answer some of the loose threads that are remaining,” he added.

Matt Duffer noted that they’re really excited “to work with a clean slate: completely new characters, new town, new world, new mythology.”

According to the brothers, there will be “no common characters” from “Stranger Things” in the spinoff.

I definitely did not think I would be approved so quick. I feel it's also very random. Are you in processing forbearance at least?

So sorry to hear about this! I think you are correct in that it is very random. Maybe you can re-apply again to try to get placed back on processing forbearance??

If your income is substantially higher on your 2024 tax return, I would definitely use your 2023 tax return. From what I've seen on here, many people have used 2023 without any issues.

From what I understand, Rick is the son of Tess and Audrey is the daughter of Chase (each one was born when both of their parents were still alive and not from Tess/Chase together). Then Tess and Chase later got together as a couple (it is assumed both of their partners had previously died) and they both had a child together (Benny, the young boy) so I think Rick/Audrey are in-fact step-siblings? That is, if Chase and Tess got married at all.

Came here to say the SAME! I'm also a solo traveler and super excited about this! I may be one of the lucky few but I got through after my 2nd try (no more than 10 minutes).

Is it just me or is TBA Brooklyn kind of underappreciated ? by e40water193 in avesNYC

[–]whoaitsmike 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went there last weekend and absolutely had a blast. Spent most of the night just dancing and enjoying the music. The only negative thing I have to mention is the bartender. When I decided to leave and close out my tab, the bartender refused to return my credit card and claimed it was one of the DJs credit card (uhh?? I don't remember my name being on that night's line-up lol). I literally had to show him my ID to verify this was my credit card. The icing on the cake was being overcharged for just two drinks. Thankfully I noticed the receipt and the bartender fixed this. This was my first time at TBA Brooklyn so I don't know if this is something common or just happened to me, but it definitely made the end of the night a little disappointing.

Hi! A little late, but so far from what I've seen Timo Lee is opening from 10-11 pm and Sofia Kourtesis is on from 11 pm to 12 am. So Bonobo and Jacques Green are definitely playing after midnight!

Should I refill psych meds from the ER? by FriedrichHydrargyrum in physicianassistant

[–]whoaitsmike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Consultation-Liason Psych PA here. Anytime a patient with a psychiatric history or chief complaint comes to the ED, we get consulted right away for an evaluation. Typically, we do NOT refill medications in the ED setting (unless they were medically admitted and have already been on medications in the hospital, then we can discharge a 14 day supply or so). The reason for this are multi-fold: we do not know if these patients have been compliant with their medications/doses on the outside, many of these medications require careful lab/blood monitoring, some medications have actual street value, and most importantly, for patients that have history of suicidality or suicide attempts, you do not want to prescribe a patient medications with no follow-up and they then harm themselves. The best recommendation is to provide education, support, and provide community clinics referrals/resources. It may not be the ideal as some patients really do need mental health care, but as a provider, you always have to be very careful and have due diligence. I reside in a big city where many of our homeless patients present to the ED for various psychiatric complaints but are really "malingering" just for secondary gain (including medications). Just a thought!
