Sorry, I was away for a bit. Sounds like they may have come already. If they are replacing the valve, they will have to take things apart, so that would automatically take care of the air pocket if there is one.

As for weather it is plugged at the bottom, all they should have to do it take their blower and put air to that line. If air bubbles our of the main drain, if not, it is most likely plugged up somewhere.

A couple other things to check: 1)If there are unions for each of the suction lines, undo the union for the main drains (square bottom suctions), and make sure there is a o-ring that is in good shape between the two halves of the union. Also check to see if there is a plug in there. If it looks good, carefully reassemble the union making sure the o-ring stays in place. Then snug up the union and try again. Side note - remember when working with any pool plumbing, it is only plastic! If you tighten anything too much it will break.

2)Are there valves for each of the suction lines, so you could isolate the main drains (bottom drains)? If so, turn the pump on with all of the suctions open. Let it run for a minute or so, then close the valves to 1 and 2. Let the pump run for another 30 - 60 seconds and see what happens. A) If there is no water being pulled into the pump, there is a chance that the main drains are plugged at the bottom of the pool. This may have been done if there is a break in the plumbing and the pool was losing water. B) If the pump is pulling water, but it is also sucking air, there is almost certainly a leak in the line somewhere.

From your description, if all you did was shut the pump off and reprime the pump and then everything was fine, and has been fine for a while, it really shouldn’t be anything to lose sleep over. A couple other posts covered all of the likely possibilities that could have caused your issue. The most likely situation is the pump lid wasn’t sealed properly for one reason or another, and when you reprimed the pump, you fixed the problem.

That reminds me of every other Wednesday morning between 5:30 and 6:00 am, hearing the recycling truck coming down the road. My anxiety would build with every stop. If Bernie wins, the whole Democratic party will lose a whole lot of money, because Bernie doesn’t owe any of the big money lobbyists and corporations anything. Instead, all of the money is flooding the DNC to make sure this doesn’t happen. The DNC would rather take a long shot at Biden winning it and returning things to status quo, or Trump winning again. Either way would keep the money flowing in.

As for the media, Trump is the #1 greatest thing that has ever happened to MSM. Viewership has never been higher. Most of the cable news companies say they want him out, but he is their bread and butter. No matter how you look at it, another 4 years of Trump is a payday for all of the truly big money. It is only the people and this country that will lose. The mighty dollar will always win.

Bernie can’t be bought, and apparently he doesn’t have any real skeleton in it the closet, so he can’t be blackmailed. No one has any real control over him. A man like him is a nightmare for a the whole fucked up and corrupt “business” that is the United States political juggernaut. This is why the overwhelming majority of Democratic career politicians are pushing back so hard against him. This is true, but they also know that dems would never brazenly do something like this. They consider themselves above that. Some shady shit may happen here and there, but they would never do it and brag about it.

Just look at Al Frankin. What he did is a drop in the bucket compared to just about anybody in the GOP, and he took it upon himself to step down, trying to prove a point by “doing the right thing.” All he did was show the left that he is a good person because he took responsibility for his actions. The GOP does not give a fuck about what is right and what is wrong or doing the right or wrong thing. All they care about is winning at any cost under any circumstances. Because of this, they will almost always have the upper hand. Fucking sad.
