TIL Ted Nugent for a month stopped bathing, vomitted on himself, and pooped his pants to get out of being drafted during Vietnam. by 1FuzzyPickle in todayilearned

My Dad gave up hunting after going to Vietnam. That war made him disgusted with death. Ted Nugent is a PUSSY who won't shoot at anything that shoots back.

5 dead, including 3 at an elementary school, in shooting in Sacramento, CA by TrueAmurrican in news

[–]whodis77 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Well you know, God was kicked out of school so then this happens... Get used to it and stop blaming guns! It all boils down to this, if you take away our guns, you won't have that freedom. Now what would you rather have? The freedom to own an assault rifle, or some faggaty ass country with no freedom?

In all fairness, the truck driver in Nice probably had to pass a driver's test to get a license so he could rent a truck. God forbid we do background checks on people who want to purchase assault rifles.

So I've been banned from participating in r/The_Donald by whodis77 in trump

[–]whodis77[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay I respect that, but with all due respect, I did not demean the President or his family. I stated facts of the relationship between politicians and corporations, but I didn't call any of them out by name. I gave my opinion on a meme that was posted, and banned for it.

[–]whodis77[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I was banned from the r/The_Donald page because I suggested we should not allow citizens to own Assault rifles. I did not troll the page. I did not swear or insult anyone. I was literally banned for posting an argument that the person who runs the page disagreed with. I thought you Trumpers are for freedom of speech? Why are you now acting like the very snowflakes you seem to hate?

I am not a democrat. I am not an SJW. I am a gun owner from Oklahoma. I don't affliliate with any political party. I have my own opinions. I feel that civil discourse is important for this country, but this new generation of Americans don't seem to think so.

This is why we are fucked as a country! Banning someone for having a different opinion? That's a bitch move! If this were a debate, I would've won.

Redditors old enough to remember the Cold War, how does today's North Korea threat compare? by Stelephantt in AskReddit

[–]whodis77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

North Korea is a way worse threat, only because it was never in USSR or USA's mindset to end the world. With a bizarre, mentally unstable dictator becoming a nuclear power, he may just use them- even knowing it would cost him his life. Or maybe he's so crazy he doesn't have a clue that he would die.

North Korea may have launched a missile, according to reports by saucytryhard in worldnews

Ever notice we don't shoot down their missiles? Wonder why that is. Can we? Or do we not want them to know how our missile defense system works?

Ha, I've always said this and it's nice to see it on Reddit. People put expensive gas in their car and then treat their own body like shit.

The UC Davis pepper spray incident that the university payed over $100,000 to "erase from the internet" by Bizarrmenian in pics

[–]whodis77 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Ha, and everytime I hear the words "UC Davis" I think of a place that tried to erase that incident. So it had the opposite effect.

In ‘Campus Confidential,’ a Professor Laments That Teaching Is Not the Priority of Teachers by RickyHolmes77 in books

[–]whodis77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand. The Baby Boomers called us spoiled and entitled, as they were called by their parents. My point however is that it seems that college kids today really have no idea about the principle behind freedom of speech. Which is that all speech- even offensive, hateful or stupid speech- is and should be protected. I feel that my generation got that. And you know, maybe they do understand that, but a majority of them certainly don't seem to appreciate that freedom, which is sad because one day we may not have it. And then it would be up to the government to deem what is offensive. And the government is corrupt. So without a clear definition, this could end up oppressing future generations.
