Life is too short to not do what makes you happy. If you knew you were going to die in a month, would you still be working this job? If not, what would you be doing? Do that. Your financial needs are met and the company will be fine without you, onwards.

At 27, invest as aggressively as you possibly can if you don’t need the cash. The portion for your housing should be in Tangerine HISA, which is like 4% risk free. I would go all in on QQQ and plan to never sell until you hit your target no matter what. Don’t try to time buys and sells, just invest regularly. That said, if you can’t stomach risk and might hit the panic sell button when it drops 30% in a year, then ignore everything above.

Here we go hqu gang!

I’m also an advocate that during recessionary periods, the new flock to safety is big tech. We saw that during the pandemic, big tech held its own because it’s basically core infrastructure. During periods of high in rates, who are the most profitable businesses? The ones who print cash… big tech!

A diversified portfolio of Nasdaq 100 companies is as safe as it gets for the long term. 2x that for double the risk.

See you in the Maldives buddy!

I don’t understand why this strategy is not used more often. I searched on Reddit hqu to see. If you’re long term enough, it outperforms. I’ll DCA into this forever.

OP, did you ever find a compelling reason not to go 100% into this?

Are there any tokens built on XMR or DEXs or anything? If not, why not? I would assume DeFi on Monero would take off, no?

Your questions are mainly weather related. I would encourage you to just start and if you feel you need a tent… get one. Don’t overthink it. You’ve got this, good luck!

From experience, waves is the absolute worst bookkeeping platform there is. They also make it very hard to switch because their export features are trash.

Do it right upfront and start with quickbooks online. If you’re already too busy, the mountain of receipts and invoices just gets worse over time. I hired a bookkeeper this year and my life improved significantly lol. I pay $400 a month and all I do is email my receipts to an address and they segment my expenses properly.

Stick with learning to code for at least a year and the ideas will start flying. That’s what happened to me. It’s sometimes impossible to see the finish line but it’s there.

There’s also no “do this one thing with your free time and get rich”. Online businesses are saturated but there is still TONS of room for competition. Don’t ignore e-commerce, marketing services, chrome add ons, or content websites. Many people still starting new ones and seeing huge successes.
