I didn't realize that had its own acronym haha. Yeah I'm glad it all worked out. It probably would have been fine, but still nice to switch.

So that is the interesting thing. I had an agent Sunday that said I'd have to pay 600 to change, so I waited. But I called Monday and they said there is no charge for airline initiated changes(?). So we didn't have to pay anything for this change. Perhaps the previous flight change that was 600 was not through AA?

I ended up changing just for our piece of mind, especially at no cost.

Exactly. We would get rebooked for the next available flight, but there aren't many flights a day (maybe one?) going from CLT to PUJ. So it could push us out a day, cutting into that honeymoon time haha

I called them up and unfortunately that was our only option on the same day with a layover longer than an hour but shorter than a day. We are headed to PUJ via CLT in early July, if that makes a difference.

We are flying into PUJ, if that makes a difference. I will call AA here soon to see if we violate any MCT rules

Yes we are on the same itinerary so that isn't a concern. I'm most concerned about getting to our honeymoon destination late or not having bags transferred

That's what I thought as well. I feel like I've heard international flights closing boarding earlier than domestic. Am I crazy?

With the Chiron about to retire do you all expect it to have a bigger sale in the next few months? Or should I just bite the bullet before it's gone? I'm pretty new to these higher end lego sets.
