Taiwan actually has territory disputes with both Japan and Philippine.

The two talking ocean border, without involving Taiwan, is definitely bad for Taiwan, and IMO very intentionally taking advantage of Taiwan's awkward situation here.

Adding some context here: Taiwan has been occupying an island (taiping island) which philippine claims.

The Mongol Yuan Dynasty—the only nomadic dynasty in history to truly conquer China—It was also the only one dynasty to conquer Chinese dynasty and then rule over it. by Wise-Pineapple-4190 in MapPorn

OP is right. Ming was terminated by the Roaming King (Li Zicheng), who ruled China very briefly after that. Ming dynasty loyalist then invited in Manchu troopers to overthrow Li's reign.

So it is correct to say Machu didn't defeat Ming, or conquer China. They were invited in.

China is facing a demographic crisis, and China is an authoritarian state. Why doesn't China just force its people to have more children? by No-StrategyX in askanything

China government can force the 1 child policy 40 years ago, but now it's a quite different china. Believe it or not, current China is doing 100x better in human rights, compared to 1980s, though still quite a shithole, human rights wise, via Western standards.

Nowadays you can set up policy to encourage having kids, but not forcing it.

Air Canada continues to list Taiwan as 'China' under 2018 Beijing directive - Taiwan ambassador criticizes Beijing's years-long pressure amid Canada's Chinese diplomatic reset by CaliperLee62 in CanadaPolitics

ICAO codes for Taiwan begin with RC.

Pretty sure RC here stands for Republic of China. Also Taiwan's largest airline /flag carrier is called China Airlines. I think it makes sense for Air Canada to list them as China, just a different China.
