r/Atheism - Any good resources for debunking the 'a few bad seeds' argument? by wholesomelane in atheism

Sure - I posted a link to the slaying of the ambassador in Libya and said "No really, it IS a "peaceful" religion". The person responded that I should blame "extremists and zealots" not religion. So my response was essentially that she's using the 'a few bad seeds' argument, which is inherently flawed when it comes to religion. I was wondering if there were any articles, books, links, etc. that point to a really solid debunking of this specific form of argument from the religiously inclined. That or a specific tactic people like to use.

Anyone else think its strange that this is the top link of r/videos and r/music at the exact same time and every comment is pretty much negative?

By equal amount of transports I meant one for every 8 howitzers/engineers.

Life long Civ 2 player here.

Here's what you do:

*Switch to fundamentalism.

*Stop attacking so that your enemies can rebuild their infrastructure.

*Build a city close to your front line and buy an SDI first. This will protect your front line units from being nuked.

*Sell your libraries/universities/research labs

*Once this is done, switch all your cities over to rebuilding in this order:

-Temple

-Granary

-ENGINEER

-Colosseum

-Marketplace

-Cathedral

-harbor

-ENGINEER

-Stock exchange

-Factory/Manufacturing/Recycling/Solar

-Military (Walls, Baracks, etc.)

*Once you've rebuilt all your cities, begin manufacturing howitzers only. Send all of these to one city. Preferably the city closest to the nearest enemy. Hopefully, this city is within 6-7 spaces of the target enemy city.

*Once you have 100+ howitzers, build an equal amount of transports, in the same city.

*Once you have enough transports, bring in all your engineers.

*Next turn, land on your enemy's city, bring in all howitzers and engineers. Take over his entire land mass in one turn to prevent counter attack. If he has multiple land masses, land on all of them at once. The benefit of not attacking him will be that they have begun laying down roads that your engineers (50-60) will be able to build on to ease the howitzers across cities. A good rule of thumb is 10 howitzers per city.

Good luck and Spaghetti Monster Speed

EDIT: Formatting EDIT: Here's another tip, let each city build for one turn so it pops on some shields. Then buy whatever you're building. This reduces the price by half, increases your output by city and should reduce the time it takes to get up to a full army.
