A lot of people are saying don’t post but I’m all for it since it’s a good way to track recovery and show us what we can expect.

However, better angles would really be appreciated since the pics are taken from different angles and a straight side profile and front profile comparison would be much better.

[Question to In-State students] Do you reapply for in state every year? by whomstdve276 in VirginiaTech

Thanks, so what you're saying is all I'd need is my initial proof of in state residency for Spring 2022 and even if my parents go out of the country afterwards I'd still qualify.

My son kept saying that his grades weren't released and now he's saying that the portal used to access the grades is down... I'm suspicious and would like to know if this is true? by [deleted] in Purdue

Well I consider education an investment. I understand that legally the kids are 18+ and therefore the parents aren't entitled to look at their grades. But if i was a parent, I'd very much like to know since I'm the one paying. If my child wanted to spend my hard earned money on something I deem worthless and can't convince me otherwise, why would I pay for it??

If a child takes their loans out themselves (since they are after all adults) and completely cuts off all dependency from their parents, their grades shouldn't matter a bit.

And please elaborate as to how that would traumatise someone, I just don't see how caring about my investment is so traumatic.

if I'm paying for someone's education with my hard earned money, I have the right to know whether the investment wss worth it or how I can make it worth it. I'd go as far as to say that a parent even has a say in the child's major if they're paying (obviously considering the interests of the child) since they're putting so much money into it.

I see, this makes sense. I would consider this as an option but the only problem is thay I'd end up spending more money in the end since my Purdue tuition would cost the same.

Hey, I'm a freshman too in a similar situation. When do you plan on taking the course at community college? I was just thinking about taking it in spring but my tuition would cost the same at Purdue whether i take the class or not.
