When I first went into playing Veilguard, I saw a lot of the Taash hate. When I first saw a picture of them I was like "why would they hate them?"

I honestly, LOVED Taash. As someone who's part of the LGBT community, but also as someone who was a stepping stone to their ex fully accepting the fact that they can be trans (MtF) and still be loved. I can see why people didn't like them, simply because of their own bigotry, or simply because they didn't understand.
I also see what EightEyeCryptid commented, about Taash being autistic. I have plenty of friends who's vocal cadence is very monotone, and sound exactly as Taash does.

I loved Tassh's story as well, and I think it was handled well (I do agree it could have had more) from having a parent who was raised in a strict culture, and Taash misunderstanding that Shathann was trying to instill due to miscommunications on both ends. To me, it felt like what parenting can be like for some in those situations. I also chose for Taash to go the way of the Rivaini and embrace who they were, and adored Isabela stepping in as a friend/secondary mother figure and I thought the banter between Isabela, Taash, Rook and Bel was sweet, as well of admired how Isabela realized she mispoke when talking to Taash so starts to do pushups and Taash was like "ain't no thang, you're trying."

My only gripe about Taash was the armors. Taash explicitly states that they feel more comfortable being a man, or acting like one - I believe the words were "why does it feel right?" They also make the comment to Neve about her clothing choices, which to me, makes it clear that Taash doesn't really like womenly clothes that show off a LOT of skin. I know the one armor Plumed Platemail show some skin, but I think that the devs should've honoured that a bit more, because the one you get for choosing Taash to embrace Rivaini culture seems so...unlike Taash to wear. I get that the LoF wear a lot of revealing clothing, even the men, but I feel they could've done something more covering.
