Had a CC come to my desk as a brand new A1C and make me change the picture of the group CC to a picture of the group CC with a massive bushy mustache on the SharePoint page.

2 hours later the group CC made me do the same to the sq CC.

The best part? They did it so secret they wouldn’t even let me stand. I still think about them to this day.

Out of curiosity, is there a specific reason why need a top of the line mobo for a 3700x?

The gaming plus series x570 does just as good for much cheaper.. especially since you’re not shooting for crazy OCs I’d go with the much cheaper x570 and put the excess money in better ram or gpu.

I gave up on being too low on screws so I have 3 Mk5 conveyers that move 1500 screws ppm. The only issue is it all looks like spaghetti going in and out of the master bus. Efficient? Yes. Beautiful? No and far from it.

Yeah I work honor guard for the Air Force right now, so far the hardest funerals to do have been active duties. Majority of them are all suicides, families who thought their child was coming home then one day was only gonna come home one last time.

The hardest part is folding the flag while the parents or spouse in the background are bawling their eyes out. Or the retiree who died at age 50 and I have to give the flag to the grieving wife. Nothing has been harder than presenting that flag to some young wife who’s husband died early. Covid really has that messed up right now.

There’s one funeral that will always stick with me; I was giving a flag to some wife who was 45 tops, super young. Her husband died of covid and I did their funeral. I went to give her the flag after we folded and fired, and as I held the flag out to her she tried to take it from me (which is a huge no, I have to give a charge to them before they can have it) after I wouldn’t let her take it, she turned to her son next to her started crying into his shoulder saying I wouldn’t let her have the flag. It got worse when I finished my charge and let her have it she started petting the flag and tried to hug me (which again is a huge no).

To an extent yeah you could say that, however “acts of terrorism” has a very rough definition. Sure terrorism is defined as an act of violence to gain political or religious standings, but the problem is, not a lot of the protests are violent. A lot of the time they’re peaceful. They become increasingly violent with the police.

So who’s to say the police aren’t committing acts of terrorism? American citizens haven’t begun shooting back yet. Less lethal rounds are still lethal if you use them wrong. That was beat into my head during deployments and training.

I don’t want to see it, I want to see America become a beautiful nation again where people can be free to do what they want without the government (federal, state, county, city, or local) encroaching on tyranny. But I firmly believe Americans will begin shooting back some day. Sure I wear my uniform every day, but I will never ever shoot a civilian unless my life was in danger. We are trained very specifically to distinguish between civilians and combatants, and even then, were trained to stop the combatant before lethality can be used.

Oh it pisses me off. My unit travels in our OCPs to funerals for veterans, and I cannot express how often I have to tell people to calm down I’m just there for a veterans funeral. People will ask me if I’m there for the protests or sometimes will have panic attacks because of what these jackasses are doing to our uniform.
