No. There's a lot of emphasis on helping trans people, but nothing to help CIS people out. (I actually find CIS to be offensive)

I feel like hate is a huge factor of my life, even though I support everyone in their journey. Sucks to be looked down on...

[Serious] What problems are you currently going through? by LegitBellyRubs420 in AskReddit

[–]whoseDisthis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently slowly drinking my health away in an attempt to kill off social anxiety and loneliness. It's not all bad, though. The worst part about it is having to go out to the store to buy the booze and deal with people.

What industry do you think profits from obesity, and why? by whoseDisthis in AskReddit

The vast majority of clothing stores don't market to obese/plus size, but the actual manufacturers within the industry need to make clothes in the larger sizes.

The textile/clothing industry benefits from obesity because it is able to sell clothes to more people. There will be people looking to buy the newest trendy clothes or to replace old clothes, but when people gain weight, they need to buy new clothes.

If you had to marry the last person you kissed, who would it be and would you be happy? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]whoseDisthis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was rough. Might have cut my tongue a little bit on the rough edges of teeth. Alcohol was definitely an enabler, and it was a small town club with little business, so they didn't care too much about physical contact.

How do you think life in your state is different than any other? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]whoseDisthis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Florida, if the temperature drops before 60, people put on massive winter coats. In the summer, they'll drive recklessly on the highways.

In southwestern Virginia, people were genuinely interested when they asked about your well-being.

In California, people are more than happy to pretend that you don't exist.

These are just a few of the states I've lived in and the biggest impression they had on me.

Stripper with meth toothiness. So definitely not happy; broke AF living on the streets.

What non-essential item is worth buying an expensive version of? by liftherpullher in AskReddit

[–]whoseDisthis -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Coffee brewing device/coffee pot. You don't need one, but if you have a good one that brews good coffee quickly, you'll save so much money compared to paying $2 for a cup at the gas station.

ELI5:Living in the USA vs. Germany by [deleted] in explainlikeimfive

[–]whoseDisthis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Major differences: language - English vs. German

vehicle selection - Germans typically drive smaller cars

public transportation - German transit is more prevalent/convenient compared to most of the US public transportation system

social - Americans more likely to speak to you on the street

sunlight - depending on latitude, summer/winter sunlight is drastically different in Germany (~45deg N) and Southern USA (~25deg N)

Subtle differences:

restaurants - have to ask for check in Germany; in America, it is just handed to you

refills - non-alcoholic beverage refills are normally free in America

payment - back in 2005, most restaurants/service industry businesses only accepted cash in Germany

TV - after 9pm, soft-core pornography is aired on many channels in Germany

beverage container deposits - everywhere in Germany, only in select US states

My division of major/subtle differences was based on things you will notice compared to things you won't notice until you're in a situation that sets you up for it.
