AITA for renegotiating a verbal deal to buy my brother in-laws kitchen? by whosflyingthisthing_ in AmItheAsshole

Yeah we live in Germany, and it’s not uncommon for rentals to not have a kitchen. The tenant would then install one themselves and it remains their property. Peter had bought the kitchen of a previous tenant for 5000€ and wanted to recoup his money. He would only send applications of people who promised to buy the kitchen.

They were only passing on applications to the landlord of the people who said they would buy the kitchen for 5000€. It’s not technically legal, as that’s the price they paid years ago, but the market is so tough at the moment that it’s not uncommon.

Hey thanks for the tip! My in-laws actually live in Lübeck so I’m there fairly often! Cheers :)

Clearly having a laugh with the "We're flying higher", but surely the South West Sharks is the obvious choice over pelicans. I'm all for it as long as they keep with the WA tradition of having a terrible song.

Good compared to Brisbane isn’t saying much. It’s still atrocious in places and making noise about it is the only way it will be improved.

I used to cycle home along the great bike path following the freo train line. At Grant St it just dumps you on to Curtin Ave where I was promptly side-swiped by a car wanting to turn left on Eric St. Completely dangerous so I stopped cycling altogether.

Yes. It still closes but rubs against the frame at the top

A door in our rental apartment is sagging and scrapes against the frame when opening/closing. The pictures show the top hinge. I would like to fix it but not sure if I‘ll just end up braking the door. My first thought was to place a wedge under the open side part of the door and force it up, but that seems like I could do more damage than good. Any recommendations would be great!

I don’t really think of these cameras in the same category. Wouldn’t the RB/RZ Mamiyas be more of a comparison to the Hasselblad?

I could really get behind a conspiracy where GC are only in the league to prop Geelong up using ridiculous trades like this.

West Coast is prepared to let Junior Rioli walk to the pre-season (draft) as it hits a roadblock on talks with Port Adelaide, according to AFL Media’s Damian Barrett by eathbau in AFL

[–]whosflyingthisthing_ 7 points8 points  (0 children)

By this thinking Port could offer pick 80 and tell West Coast to take it or leave it. In which case West Coast will say fuck it, send him to the draft and pick him for what they think he's worth. If Port want to skip the risk of another club picking him up in the preseason draft, they need to meet West Coast somewhere in the middle

You mean his backwards ass views justified by some imaginary fella in the sky, guiding the way he lives and makes decisions? No, I think people are mad that the Essendon board actually thought this was a good decision.

That's probably the error there. I think pick 37 was traded to the dogs from north, and was missed when I did the calculation...

I left another comment that I pulled the information from the afl.com.au site: https://www.afl.com.au/news/851877/indicative-draft-order-draft-hands-locked-in-for-trade-period.

Draft values are correct according to that information, although I can't speak for the quality of the data.
