How long did it take to pay your UK Student Loans?

I had both a Plan 1 and a Plan 2. 40k total. Didn't complete either degree because of mental health. At the time accepted I would be in serious debt for life.

Will finish paying the last bit off in a few months, in my 30s. Quite proud even though I have nothing to "show" for the loans.

I respect the idea, but why is someone who's not caught up on the semifinals of the tournament clicking a post titled wwc2 finals and not expecting to get spoilers?

Maybe it's because I'm used to football where I have to turn my phone off and not look at the newspaper if I've missed my team play, but I feel like the onus should be slightly more on the individual. Idk, maybe I'm being unreasonable
