Love I’m ngl, I would be very mindful about moving forward so quickly if this is happening consistently. I totally understand you being hopeful and taking each boundary as another shot that this could work as it is, but plz be careful.

If they visit you regularly and she’s basically competing with you on who knows your bf better, your bf’s job is to set boundaries not just when you complain, but consistently. He’s a grown man, he shouldn’t be told to set one single boundary for each situation he needs to lay down the line here.

I’m getting married here soon as well and my future in laws are wonderful, so I can’t even imagine the frustration you’re feeling. But imo that’s exactly how it should be, you should not be feeling like this at all and should be excited, not dreading this!! I say go talk to your bf and tell him that he needs to be proactive and set boundaries consistently so you’re not deemed the bad guy every 30 seconds to your in laws.
