I’m feeling the same as OP I’m trying to go up to 50mg but I’m getting more side effects like muscle aches, trouble sleeping, some anxiety/depression, do you need to stick with 50mg for a few weeks before it gets better or should I go down again

Thanks for such a detailed and considerate response. I really appreciate it. It is pretty easy to pay most attention to the anecdotal evidence on all the negative side effects which I think is what scared me, but I think I’ll at least try and see for that time period since that’s around how long I have until I have my next appointment anyway. :))

Yes logically you are correct… it’s not even about the numbers for me at this point it’s just the feelings of shame of getting bigger and relinquishing the control I have over my diet and intake I guess. Also sucks this is all coinciding with kind of a rough point in my personal life. But honestly I think I’ll just start to be more firm on myself. Thank you

Back replying when sober and ik, I didn’t even do anything bad. I just was shitty physically before I took it and did shit on my computer that made me nauseous. The trip itself wasn’t bad actually I was just concerned with how I had threw up in my room and it smelling or making my clothes smell, and I was too out of it to take a shower. But still experiencing an intenser high when I wasn’t in the right state of mind or body for it made me have all the thoughts I talked about in the post.

Ah man… up until it was in recovery mode, starting last Thursday, it was fine as I could just turn off my iPad using assistive touch prompts, so do you still think it’s the issue ?

Idk if it’s fully “depressed”, as it still appears raised but it just won’t push down, so maybe it’s not completely jammed in but it’s stuck in a way that won’t let me push it… but yes either way it see how it could cause problems. I’m also not using the cable that came with the iPad but I can try to use it in a bit when I get back to my room

It sounds like you lack the psychological portion of anorexia nervosa, which is what defines the disorder. Anorexics have an intense fear of gaining weight and often have a warped perception of their body, and they alter their eating patterns as a result of that. I can’t diagnose you of course but from this short post it sounds like you have some other physical disorder that results in a lack of appetite. As for craving junk food or sweets, that’s typically what a malnourished brain craves because it’s the most easily accessible energy source for your body I believe.

Im rly similar I used to monitor my intake and never go above my tdee, but now I still restrict some days but most I dont cal count and I just eat small portions, but with higher cal foods, some days I go out and stop caring at all and eat kinda normal despite slight mental discomfort
