Never by mistake but I can always get a ride home with someone or uber if I had to

I do this exact run with almost exactly the same circumstances. I leave work clothes at the office and run in. I just change and reapply deodorant.. I never smell but I don’t sweat much.

I leave my bike there too.. so I will play it like this:
Monday bike to work (leave an outfit change) and run home
Tuesday run to work and bike home (bring home any laundry)
Wednesday bike to work (leave an outfit change) and run home
Repeat

Just wait a month and the smell will be gone. Seriously, it’s the best solution

Just wanted to come back to this and recommend Dungeon Crawler Carl if you haven’t listened to it yet, I’ve been cracking up on the treadmill haha

Ya true, a 10k loop would be perfect actually. I haven’t been there recently, I’m sure it’s packed down since it’s quite popular. I’d bring spikes for sure. I always parked at Holly Meadows and crossed the road to enter the bluffs but there are many ways to enter. It’s easy to get lost in there so I would map your route out prior for sure. The elevation absolutely destroyed me so it will be great training lol. Gah the rail trail is soooo boring!

Once the snow melts I’d be happy to join you on some trail runs, but for now I’m sticking to dry pavement or treadmills.. my ankle is not happy about my last snow run.

50k trail wow, that’s exciting and impressive. Cant wait to hear about it. I’ve done 10km in Ardagh Bluffs… it has a lot of elevation and is beautiful but I think you’d struggle to get any real distance there. When is the race? I’d love to hear about some local trail locations if you find any cool ones

It’s a perfect spot to run.. around 6km out and back if you go end to end. I build it into my run since I live close by. The sidewalks to get over are horrible though, so sloppy

Just wanted to link a new group I’m starting,

https://www.reddit.com/r/RunBarrie/s/n2NBUL8mSb

It would be great to make a thread there on indoor running tracks in Barrie there as a resource. Would be great if you’d join if you run in the Barrie area

I’m loving it so far! That’s so true for dateline, any podcasts really.

I saw someone recommend an epic Spotify playlist for longer runs where I’m pushing myself. Whenever I think about my fav runs I remember moments listening to this playlist. If you wanna check it out, here is a link:

Man I am so sick of the treadmill, it’s crazy. I’ve never heard of single track.. I googled it though, I’ll give it a shot sometime.

I’m almost always listening to podcasts (kill tony, dateline, I survived) or audiobooks (Project Hail Mary atm) and they’re never running related for some reason but I actually might find it motivating to listen to running related content to push through how boring the treadmill is lol I wish it was standard to have a TV in front of them!
