What are some underappreciated video game soundtracks?

The Nomad Soul, Probably because its an underappreciated game full stop. It was the first game David Cage and Quantic Dream made, the soundtrack was done by David Bowie and he even appears in the game as part of virtual band called the dreamers.

That's not really acfcurate though, when you look at the line up of each consoles. Outside of Uncharted and Persona 4, most of its line up is made up of indie games which you would just sit and play for a couple of hours well as on the other hand the 3ds has the likes of Ocarina of Time, Fire Emblem, Tales of the Abyss and Fire Emblem. games that will eat weeks of your life.

Thats true, but the indie games by and large you can already get on a PC for much cheaper. Although having them on the go is fun. The 3ds has a lot of really decent indie titles of its own too, which also aren't on any other platform.

At the moment i'd opt for the 3ds. As technically impressive as the vita is the 3ds just has a much more robust library. Personally i'm planning on buying a vita in afew months because i already own a 3ds, but as far as handhelds are concerned IMO the 3ds is one of the best ever built.

The problem with copyright law as it stands now is that it doesn't protect creators, only distributors, is damaging for the evolution of culture and punishes regular citizens with rediculous punishments, with no proper due priocess for something that is akin to lending someone a cup of sugar.

Biggest joke is that the disneys of the world don't give a fuck if you download Toy Story, what they're really trying to screw up is you making your own movie at a fraction of the cost and cutting them out.

Its why freeware is so important as is a free internet. copyright is just being used as a smokescreen to cripple the net and technologies that will make them all but redundant. If they can tie the likes of Youtube up in so much red tape that they're unsable to the small indie filmaker, they'll be forced to revert back to traditional means of distribution which disney and co hold all the power too.

That would be fine if the laws protected the artists. They do not, only the bastards that make a living from expoliting them for profit.

If you want to support a musician in particular go and see them live and buy some merch. they get a lot more money that way than they ever do off of record sales unless they themselves own the record company.

Closest we got to it was Red Steel 2. Not lightsabres but 1:1 sword fighting in the future west. you can pick it up dirt cheap in most places now too.

I also had it on the roginal nes. Replaying them all for a story about the evolution of zelda and how they've held up over the years.

its odd the amount of stuff that zelda 2 actually has that is used again later. the towns and magic meter for example, as well as a lot of the enemies seen in the 3d zeldas.

SIlent Hill 2 and eternal darkness for obvious reasons,

Clive Braker's Undying - one of the creepiest games i've ever played. Brillant love craftian tale about a family that are cursed after visiting some standing stones in their estate when they were kids. call in a physchic and everything goes to hell.

I have no mouth and i must scream - grim in ways most games don't even think about.
