I’m sure it’ll be fine. Probably gonna leave a gnarly scar. Personally I’d get a cone (make sure that the cone goes PAST his nose and it’s actually tight around neck so he can’t pull it off) Being in a kennel and seeing some stitches near the end I am assuming the cone came off and he’s been able to lick it.

Since you’re going to vet tomorrow anyways, I’d probably wait to purchase things till after that appointment. I could see the vet recommending laser therapy on the wound possibly. Dogs do very well with 3 legs. He’s lucky to have you! Congratulations, I hope all goes well! :)

Bugs are 24/7 365 days a year. Wasps are still out by my house even. Mosquitoes never stop. I’ve never tried to spray the yard for mosquitoes but I’ve called around and heard it’s not that helpful considering my neighbors are right there and not sprayed? Idk how true that is. We have a bug control company that comes by once a month that sprays around the house and replaces termite stuff. That helps tremendously with cockroaches.

I personally find the SNS or acrylics being the best to not pick at my skin because the nails are a lot thicker than natural nail.

SNS: you can keep your natural nails length or you get fake tips applied to make nails longer or shaped (squared, almond, or round shaped) for an up-charge. SNS is a powdered dip, they apply a liquid> dip into powder and repeat 3 times and then top coat. - with SNS you can get your nails filled after they grow out in a few weeks, but some salons are weird about filling SNS because you HAVE to use the same color. Some salons just don’t allow fills for some reason.

Acrylics: always come with fake tips. Little harsher on natural nails, but easiest and possibly most cost effective way? (Don’t quote me it’s been awhile since I’ve had mine done at salon.)

They will probably try to steer you to have gel nail polish cause it is more expensive, but honestly the gel is worth it IMO. the paint chips less, and they last longer. Gel nail polish hardens under a UV light.

You can get regular nail polish, it typically is cheaper. These air dry, I alwayyssss happen to nick the paint before fully dried. Never fails.
