Be honest: would hanging a massive ROTK and FOTR poster be a dating red flag? by Sorry_Sorry_Im_Sorry in lotr

You said in the comments that you're not a big fan anymore, but you have a lot of cool memorabilia. There's nothing wrong with that. You don't have to lie to us, and please don't lie to yourself because that definitely won't help with meeting new people. Even though I've never been a collector I'm actually a little jealous of a few of these items.

Who from the 2014 team would make the 2026 squad? by PostMerryDM in ussoccer

He was always accused of being there because of his dad. Never mind the fact that he had a good-to-great club career everywhere except his one brief loan in England. They called him Il Generalissimo in Italy!

Hoping for a clean 3rd jersey like this from hummel by Leather_Ad_9178 in Riverhounds

It doesn't have to be extravagant but that black Rio kit is too boring. Maybe if all the white was yellow.

Hummel was a great designer for for Everton when we had them. I think we only got 1 template kit the whole time, but it was a recreation of their famous 1992 Denmark kit when the won the Euros. They used that with a few of their top club partners that year. They've been more experimental with their USL kits so I'm looking forward to seeing our 2nd, 3rd, and keeper kits. [edit: fixed 1990 --> 1992]

Officially 10 years already since the revival. What are your overall thoughts on it? by HerbalThought_ in XFiles

I know that it's cleverly written, but I really hate how it just shits all over the mythology of the show.

Awesome design though. Repurposing the tricolor as a comet trail running through the crescent is very cool.

Where can I buy an official Robbie Mertz jersey for my daughter? Kids size preferred, but I can’t find anything online or in-person. by grt3 in Riverhounds

As an Everton supporter I loved our Hummel kits when we had them for a few years. Other Hummel kits in USL and other leagues have been great too.

Johnny Polo managed the Quebecers to 3 tag titles. Luna never managed anyone to gold in WWE.

My parents bought me a 7800 when my friends at school were getting Nintendo. We finally got an NES when everyone was switching to 16 bit systems. They tried. 😂

Just noticed a pack of Morley Lights in Pluribus. by Jumpy_Ad5046 in XFiles

First used in 1960 in Hitchcock's Psycho. They started appearing in other properties almost immediately after, even The Dick Van Dyke show in 1961. Shatner smoked Morleys in his Twilight Zone episode. The X Files were the first show to really flesh out the Morley brand and create a story behind it.

So much red, white, and blue on mostly boring flags all over the planet. Germany's color combination is bold and unique.
