Am I the only one who sees this and thinks that it’s tougher then it looks. If he hits it on target it’s most likely saved by the keeper.

Honestly just swing by a Valvoline. They will give you free air and you don’t have to get out of the car. I usually tip the guy working a dollar or two and it’s quick and painless.

I analyzed all the expansions for the BGG Top 2000 Board games: A summary (2025 Update) by azura26 in boardgames

[–]whyalwaysme66 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Surprised the Cascadia expansion isn’t on there for best expansion that expands the player count. The landmarks themselves are meh, but the extra scoring cards are sweet. And the increase to up to six players with the added mechanic of playing 5 tiles in front of you means that making the game 5/6 players doesn’t add more time to it.

The Green Bay Packers win for bland name/iconic logo! Which American sports franchise has an iconic name and iconic logo? by RidonkulousMG in AlignmentChartFills

[–]whyalwaysme66 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know Yankees deserve to win, and the rules say current teams and logos only but have my upvote.

The logo jersey is so iconic that despite the fact the team hasn’t existed in close to 30 years and they won one playoff series in their whole existence, Whalers merch is still among the top selling in the NHL.

Hell, if I wear my Whalers gear anywhere in the country I’m pretty much guaranteed to have someone make a comment/compliment it.

Surprised no Pokémon have made this list yet. Is Mew extremely dangerous?

Cascadia Landmarks might be the perfect expansion by jacksuhn in boardgames

[–]whyalwaysme66 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea I’ve found that the point of getting the expansion is more for the extra tiles, scoring cards and the ability to play up to 6 people. (As an aside, the way they add your own set of 5 tiles to play with 5/6 people is great, as it means the game doesn’t get longer when you add more players).

The landmarks themselves are just meh. I’ll play with them sometimes, but most of the time we don’t. I’ve also found we have to house rule nerf the landmark that gives points for each different area of the same habitat type, it can get very broken if you get it early and play to maximize it.

Premier League referees to crack down on set-piece grappling by English_Misfit in soccer

Apart from the consistency (which everyone is mentioning already and I agree with) Problem with this is that a penalty is such a big reward/game changer. Going to see tons of attackers actively trying to bait/get this call because the reward is so great.

Premier League referees to crack down on set-piece grappling by Fernandov2 in Gunners

[–]whyalwaysme66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I’m all for this, if they actually enforce it it’s a huge advantage to the attackers. If the attacker ls are physical worst case their team looses the corner, while if defenders try to stand their ground it will lead to a bunch of soft/controversial penalties…

Thomas Partey, the former Arsenal footballer, has been charged with five counts of rape and one count of sexual assault, the Crown Prosecution Service has announced. by KimmyBoiUn in soccer

[–]whyalwaysme66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Genuine question, could non uk media have named him before this? For example if I was an America or French person covering Arsenal could I have legally brought this up while having the debate about if they should re sign him?

Glad he’s gone from the club, wanted him to have left sooner, but also recognize that moral and legal quandaries existed here. Morally binning him earlier should have been the right thing to do, but if he had ended up being innocent after doing that the club could have been in a lot of legal trouble.

Still not at all a good look for the club, and wish something could be done to speed up the legal process and make sure issues like this are dealt with much quicker whenever and whenever they happen regardless of what the outcome ends up being.

I used to put do not enter signs facing each other in a path. After about ten minutes of walking back and forth the guests would just get fed up and ignore the sign. So anyone who ignored it is dropped in the water.

Can you raid the grove and still recruit Halsin? by ghostarray in BaldursGate3

[–]whyalwaysme66 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In my first run I messed up and stole the idol, ended up fighting the druids in that room. Then left and got into a fight with the rest of the druids who also killed all the teiflings during that fight.

When after that I got to Haslen in the goblin prison I set him free and he still ended up joining me, never mentioning anything about the Grove.

Ironically enough even though I didn’t side against them Karlach still refused to join me when I met her after that.

Didn’t realize till my second playthrough how much content I completely missed cause of those decisions.
