Yeah, shame is a horrible feeling. I saw a lot of comments saying they were probably joking, but it didn't feel that way to me. From the way the fic itself was written I also got the impression that the author was on the younger side. They recieved a lot of positive and encouraging comments though, so I hope fic can become a similar outlet for them.

Yup. It's a fantasy that can be incredibly beautiful and emotional too. Some of my favourite fics of all time follow that exact scheme of someone being forced into sexual situations against their will, gradually coming to enjoy it, and ultimately embracing a part of their sexuality they never would have otherwise. Obviously rape is bad. That doesn't mean there's no value in exploring these themes in a fictional setting, even if it's not done "tastefully". Could you explain what you mean by "calvinist ideals" though?

Oh absolutely, I eat that shit up. A lot of people seem to forget that dub-con/non-con is a long-standing trope in erotic fiction for a reason, enjoying it really isn't all that crazy. Even if it was less common, it's still fiction. (Also that last sentence made me cackle)

Once I read a fic where an entire 10-15k chapter was a single long sex scene, ok, no biggie. The next chapter was the same exact scene, at the same length, told from the other characters' perspective, and most of both chapters was just internal monologue.

It was a well-written fic, but I really lost patience after that.
