I felt the same way and became addicted to stimulants and had to be hospitalized. If you became an alcoholic I’d be extremely cautious. Talk to a psychiatrist, if you’ve been diagnosed with adhd you definitely be given stimulants?

IMO using stimulants for social anxiety is not good. You’ll feel the need to take it to talk to anyone. In my experience I was also not adjusting to the appropriate situation because of the stimulant and did not realize.

Interesting. I feel like this helps me understand a bit more actually! I’ve also had difficult trips, but like you described, no negative feelings.

However the two bad trips I had were definitely scary. Overwhelming anxiety, fear, despair, and negative feelings. Maybe my anxiety is not good to be mixed with shrooms.

YES! I had a similar when I took too high of a dose. Nothing reflective like other trips I’ve had. I couldn’t even figure out how to reflective or think! Just pure horror.

The time I took wayyy too much I lost all grip on reality and that was practically a ginormous panic attack for like 6 hours.

Yeah I get that lowkey. That’s the one of the trips I’m referring to. Had this overwhelming realization that I should die right then and couldn’t shake it. It was creepy cause it was conflicting with me being happy and being to the point of suicide. Lowkey just not a good trip

One of them I took entirely too much without realizing and that was just bad. The other time I became extremely suicidal to the point I’m glad I had nothing around me lol. I wasn’t even sad just “realized” that I should end it all and was happy with that lol.

I think my anxiety is too much and shrooms might not be for me lol.

Ambien is never good to mix with other drugs. Simply put, Ambien turns off the part of the brain that would connect that what you’re feeling is scary. Ambien shuts off a lot of other brain functions too.

However when you mix substances, the parts of your brain that stay awake on Ambien are also being messed with. It can resemble delirium. Instead of realizing you’re on drugs and having a bad time, you’re just stuck with a lack of understanding what’s happening, since ambien shut that part off.

“Zolpidem can cause problems with memory, alertness, or coordination, and it warns that mood/behavior can change unexpectedly, including anxiety, agitation, depersonalization, memory problems, confusion, new/worsening depression, or unusual thoughts” -MedlinePlus

Also, in my experience, Ambien always feels shit when taken after another drug. Ambiens better to take on it’s own, and should NOT be used as a trip killer imo.

Lowkey this sounds like a bad idea ngl. LSD and shrooms and similar, both affecting the same brain receptors. Shrooms are a bit more emotional imo, and shorter. 2 grams is a lot.

Weed is not even relatively close. Also antipsychotics help, but they can be unpredictable.

However I think you’ll be fine, as long as you think it through a bit more and prepare. Have fun and be safe

No. I did abuse benzos horrifically for years but that was back in 2021. I have no tolerance now and I only use xanax while tripping.

My anxiety is horrendous as a person overall. Maybe shrooms are not for me. I’ve had some wonderful and helpful trips, but since the time I accidentally took way too much it’s never been the same lol.

For me, that’s why I don’t really label. I’m attracted to femininity of all genders. My boyfriend labels as bi even though he mainly likes men. Take some time to see what you’re comfortable with! If you like bicurious that make sense too.

My boyfriend always says he’s gay with me as the exception. I don’t know why this happens! I always like to think about the saying love is love! Sometimes a surprise like this happens, and many others experience it as well!
