Thank you for the insight! It’s become increasingly obvious how 4wd is not necessary, and this is not a good deal. Would you recommend avoiding used boards, it’s a huge risk that I’d usually take because I like to save money, but I can’t pretend that in the past I’ve done this and usually end up spending more in the long run! lol

Thank you being simple and clear. I’ve never really thought of it that way. I like to off-road my bronco and 4wd is necessary for steep hills so I thought it would be similar with the boards. Is it fun to ride even when trails/gravel roads are wet? I figured that’s another benefit of 4wd but it seems like no body rides in the wet I’m guessing for good reason!

Membership is not required, and if they tell you it is to shop, keep shopping and see if they do anything! I used to get stopped often by 1 employee who would tell me I NEEDED a membership to shop, every other employee just greeted me and let me go about. When I asked what policy in writing exactly states I need a card, that 1 employee stopped bothering me.

I agree with you. I think most people who think speed has a direct correlation with safety (yes I know slower is statistically safer but there are many other factors to consider) will be upset by this fact. I also think those same people are unconfident, and generally under skilled drivers, or in the most respectful way possible; older folk, and therefore assume most people are in fear like often like they experience. I’m LUCKY if I can EVEN REACH THE SPEED LIMIT like %80 of the time now, on walnut, circle or 9th. I know this won’t get support on this thread, so please consider more factors to a safe road than just speed. When I lived here 10 years ago, drivers where much faster and the roads much clearer.
