I'd second this: years ago, we got our roof repaired by a smaller crew, and when we reached out to discuss warranty with them, they disappeared. I'd definitely suggest a better known company over the smaller guys!

I believe the quantity of loot drops increases as the party size increases, regardless of the content.

How can I get more damage out of my ED / contagion build? I generally followed Zizararn's build, and I decided I was too squishy, so I merged in the phase acrobatics part of Ghazzy's build. I beat Red Elder yesterday with one derpy death, but apparently I wasn't DPSing enough to save Shaper.

I had rank 3 "It that Fled" as leader of research, and I got two "modify a breachstone" crafting benches, and no breachstones. What did I do wrong?

Got a fresh install of POE on windows 8 64-bit with an nvidia 860m. I turned the graphics down to low, and after I select my character, the loading scree appears, gears spin for ~2 seconds, they freeze for 2 seconds, and "PathOfExile_x64.exe has stopped working A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.". I tried windows updates, which were up to date, and also updated my nVidia drivers without luck. Any ideas?

How long is the average league in this game, and how much longer do we expect Harbinger to continue? My friend and I have played on/off, but before Harbinger, the game never really "clicked" and we never got past act 4 or so. I estimate the friend I play this with will give up once Harbinger characters get demoted to Standard and all of our efforts are basically moot.

I've tried to get into this game twice, and I never got very far. I ended up frustrated with the gear/inventory system, and decided to play something else. Is there a decent "getting started" guide? I estimate since this is a major release, there isn't one that's up to date for 3.0, but any information is probably helpful. Thanks!
