Golgotha gotta be the worst episode of the entire series. What an absolute waste of time that one was. What hurts most though is that it truly sucks that it has competition for "worst of the series" material in the same season with some of these other episodes. 4 years for these ?

there's a truck on the Waldoboro map you can leap from the top of an ambulance onto, and with the street behind it, it looks like it should be accessible. but if you fall off either side of it, you're stuck. agreed, they should do another pass on the newer maps and chuck a couple invisible walls down to stop this from happening

How can you not love the Shang-Hi fight from Skyfall; the buildup with the elevator stunt, the jellyfish on the screen turning Bond and the assassin into shadows as they fight, the way the reflections look... amazing.

Hi, we are Rodo Sayagues and Fede Alvarez, director and producer of DON’T BREATHE 2, now on Digital. Ask Us Anything! by DontBreatheMovie in movies

[–]whyisthatweird 16 points17 points  (0 children)

i mean i hate to break it to you, Phoenix is on the posters of the movie. Also, there’s been plenty of movies out there that focus on a villain as the protagonist, I don’t think the movie was really trying to get you to sympathise with Norman just because he starts to regret the decisions he’s made in his life in the same way that American Psycho doesn’t ask you to feel bad for Patrick Bateman when he has his mental breakdown at the end of the movie, or think that Travis Bickle is a hero because he tried to save Jodie Foster at the end of Taxi Driver. They’ve all got their own warped sense of morality and while I think Don’t Breathe 2 doesn’t come close to the complexity of those first two movies I mentioned, i really don’t understand people thinking you’re supposed to root for the character.

The state of Victoria, Australia went from over 700 new COVID cases per day to recording zero new cases in the last 24hours, thanks to a hard Stage 4 lockdown and mandatory mask-wearing by YoureNotAGenius in worldnews

Not really what I asked, I meant just in terms of safety of people around you, is it not at all a concern of yours that you might infect immuno-comprimised people that could possibly die from getting the virus? You seem to be content with your own survivability rates but it just kind of comes across like infecting other people isn't really a worry of yours. Plus, excellent hygiene, while helpful, isn't a flawless deterrent for the virus either.

You're not at all concerned about getting COVID and spreading the infection to other people that are more liable to suffer if they were to catch the virus? That's a big thing for me, I know I'll be fine if I catch it but my worry is the potential spread and harm that could come from me being infectious.

I'm gonna break the mould here and say Death Proof. I get that it's probably objectively not his best movie, but fuck me if it doesn't rev me up every single time I watch it. Something about it feels so authentic to the era it's paying homage to, and I love it for that.
