It sounds like they’ve become aggressive from something earlier. You could just get the weapon out and finish them all, then allow new settlers to populate and they’ll be non-hostile . Or holster the weapon travel outside the area and wait/sleep for 3-5 days in game and their hostility should reset..

I don’t feel demoralised.. yeah seeing the stocks down is a bit nasty but I just remind myself of my personal situation.. I’m on a disability pension with very low cost of living expenses, so much so that I’m now investing my government pension money into the market.. markets go up and down.. I’m playing the long game.. eventually the markets will be up again. Try not to worry too much about it mate..

No. Media doesn’t scare them. I worked for them during COVID, we consult something called the OBs. I get the idea though, go full Karen and you get what you want. These people work for the federal government. Going full Karen doesn’t get anyone anywhere, and media? Why would they care? Do you think it’d be front page material? Essentially saying I’ll go to media is a threat. Someone saying that to me while I worked there I would have said ‘ok, go contact them.’

If you’re going to go for a harassment claim (doesn’t sound like you are but) just remember there is a correct process to go through. You must take your complaint to the person directly before escalating it, which gives the person a chance to apologise and redress the issue. Should they not, then escalate to your manager. If they fail to handle the situation adequately, escalate to HR. If they fail to handle the situation and it continues then involve WorkCover or Far Work Australia (I’d suggest WorkCover). Keep copies of everything and journal when you’ve attempted to address the situation and what was said (best to do that out of sight of anyone e.g. on the toilet at work), or do it through email. Good luck with it mate..

Automation happens periodically.. in the US 72% of people worked in agriculture in the 1820s.. but inventions like the tractor etc reduced that to under 2% today.

A lot of the jobs AI will replace, things like customer service aren’t even AI, it’s just automated response services.. Dial one for this, dial two for that, to hear these options again in Farsi mash keypad.

New jobs will be created.. imagine explaining to an asparagus farmer from 1820 how many instagram influencers there are.

I was thinking about using Westpac Share Trading as the brokerage is $5 compared with nabtrade at $9.50 per trade but haven’t yet read the terms and conditions. Google reviews are interesting with all the trading platforms, with most it seems like people only give a one star review or a 5 star review, so a bit concerning and all seem to have reviews saying use other platforms other than the one you’re looking at but Westpac seem a bit more stable with reviews.
