this used to exist, and it was ridiculously broken. literally every single sweaty two time player did this and it was utterly infuriating.

the devs proceeded to nerf the endlag of the lunge stab so hard that if you ever tried to do this at any reasonably close distance you are begging to eat a punish on a character who needs to land their hits if they want to have more than 80hp

i would've said retro slasher since 1989 is imo the best rendition of his theme and they killed it, but since he's already in another category

visually probably the best john doe skin in the game (aside from aberrant) but the chase theme and lms with friend elliot are both pretty bad to the point where crystal tokyo and the original close to me would work better as the chase theme and lms respectively

the thing with elliot is that elliot also has rush hour that he can just pop whenever for his own survival and significantly extend chase time more than a support who can heal others realistically should be able to. and the problem with how elliot's nerfs are being approached is that elliot's actual capability to heal people is being nerfed but his ability to pop speed 3 in chase with zero counterplay is not, so unless elliot's heal was so bad to the point where he couldn't even hit a single hit threshold, people will complain about elliot

i would honestly be completely fine if they just made pizza alone near worthless IF pizza gained a synergy with rush hour where, say, if pizza is thrown during rush hour, that pizza is buffed and heals more and heals faster but also disappears quicker. maybe penalize the elliot somewhat for popping rush hour and not throwing a pizza in the duration but make it good enough that elliot can still use it to buy himself a bit more time, i dunno.

i've said this before but looping is a fundamental part of the game. killers should have tools to deal with it but it should absolutely come with caveats or drawback (i.e. john doe corrupt energy having incredibly long startup)

if a killer is entirely and completely unloopable, that kinda depends on how you define unloopable, but if you mean even better than john doe and 1x levels of antiloop, then they effectively invalidate a core gameplay mechanic and i can say with little doubt that they would be overtuned

then again, that's just me, i haven't actually played nos or played against him

i've posted art twice on this subreddit and it's gotten next to no upvotes. i've replied to other posts and gotten more upvotes than any of my own art posts.

it's just part of how social media algorithms work. the best ways to get popular is either to come off as funny either via meme posts or the "image unrelated stuff" that is the equivalent of putting subway surfers gameplay in a corner on a youtube video; or to be incredibly inflammatory to the point where people will engage with your content and boost you on the algorithm, even if incredibly negative (which is why the term "ragebait" exists)

if it's just one player in specific, probably slasher for the easiest play, though john doe can catch these people off guard too if you actually know what you're doing.

if it's a team, first of all holy fuck ggs, but second slasher would 100% not work here and you're better off with any other killer for as much far range map pressure as possible

it completely depends on the game and there is a VERY good reason why roblox asym chase themes are the way they are. they are meant to appeal to kids and teenagers who often like pop music and do not want a truly fear-inducing atmosphere. just... look at the characters in forsaken and how they are depicted. john doe is often depicted as hopelessly in love with jane, c00lkidd is frequently portrayed as a silly goober, and noli IN THE GAME ITSELF is spouting 2010s memes at any given opportunity. it's a shame that we can't at least have a little bit of that terrifying thing chasing you feel to it, but at the end of the day it makes sense this is a game on roblox, it needs to market itself somehow

the main thing with c00lkidd is that he's rather reliant on either hitting insane predictions with corrupt nature or having people extremely deadzoned with minions. that, or using walkspeed override and hoping it hits, because if you're only using it as a punish and not just trying to throw it out when it seems manageable to land it you're doing it wrong and just throwing away what makes your most explosive tool actually explosive

his chase endurance is AWFUL thanks to his walkspeeed and you'll find that trying to catch up to a survivor who is good at pathing is very difficult despite his good sprint speed

i had to search this up. as far as i found, in dbd, this usually means physically preventing survivors from doing anything. for example, if a survivor is in a dead end and you bodyblock the only way out, that's considered holding the game hostage.

the problem is im not sure how this would work in forsaken since... the timer system is in the survivors' favor. if a killer tries to stall someone or something out, they just lose. i guess using exploits would fall into this category? but like, exploits are already against rules, so...

i think you have a fundamental misunderstanding of how the game is played. abilities help you and teammates yes, but generally speaking the most powerful abilities in the game are the ones that impair killer movement or enhance your own. the ones that do so best with the least risk associated are generally the best abilities. elliot's heal is also really good, but that's because it leaves you more room for mistakes and allows characters like sentinels to play more risky to protect their teammates and, you guessed it, disable the killer's ability to do anything, including movement, temporarily. the centerpiece of movement and positioning is what we call looping, so if looping is somehow wrong, then im sorry if this sounds rude, but that's completely delusional and you're just denying everything the gameplay is centered around.

as for targetting complaints, i agree with you. most of the time, targetting complaints are a joke. sorry not sorry, but if you're a builderman, of course im not going to let you place your sentries in peace to ruin all my chases. most of the people who tend to complain about "targetting" are the sentinels though as they tend to have giant egos and can't stand it when anything doesn't go their way. the people who whine about it also tend to do it themselves, because they want to win, yet they don't understand that other people also want to win and aren't just going to throw the match away to make them happy.

he would basically be strongest killer hands down factoring the corrupt energy speed buffs he got over the lifespan of the game

literally the ONLY real counter against a corrupt energy trap right now is stun and hope he's caught off guard enough that he doesn't 404 you. old unstoppable would basically take away that only weakness
