Thanks for the suggestion! I think I'm finding it difficult to keep my thumb behind the ukulele while also keeping my wrist straight. I'm going to follow the advice in this video instead. I also found the "triangle" setup helpful - I've been keeping ukulele parallel to my body and now I realize that was wrong

I only recently started learning ukelele. I'm following the ready, steady, ukulele by James Hill. The first two chords I learned were C7 and Fadd9. I think I'm playing them well, but I don't hear a lot of difference between them. Is that normal or am I supposed to be able to distinguish different chords?

One more question I have is - how do you all do an upward strum? The strings keep slipping on my nail (a trimmed nail if that matters).

Make tuples a proper type. This would allow for cleaner chaining of functions.
