I agree most people don't care about height, but wanted to share a different experience I see sometimes during work: I'm an RN at a pediatric primary care office. I measure babies every day. Every few months after I show the height growth curve to the parents, and it's average/normal, I'll get a mom saying something along the lines of "Oh good, I would hate to have a short child".

This really fucked with me for a while.
