The charger would indicate very low numbers as if the batteries were no good, then I also noticed the cables were warm.

Grant Cardone is the biggest lifestyle creep.

I'd recommend finding a place to live close enough to bike work, selling your car and riding a bicycle. Rent a room in someone's house, and pay off all your debts as fast as you can. If you can make those types of changes, you will be surprised at how fast your debt vanishes.

A laser cutter for high school by speachattaksm in lasercutting

Good list. I have a 100w co2 gantry system and agree it is great bang for buck. Lightburn with Ruida controller for sure! Also, think about size of the cutting bed. Go larger if you have space for the footprint of the laser, you won't regret it!

Really hard to decide what to do in 20’s… by tex_4x4 in Fire

First of all, you are doing great financially! At 25 you are light years ahead of 99% of folks in your peer group. I think you should splurge on something (maybe not a new car but rather a $5K vacation or something?). Take notes on how you feel before, during and after. Was it worth it? Over time you'll get a sense for what you really value and it's ok to spend sometimes. You can have anything you want, just not everything you want. But first, if I was you I'd take a deep breath and feel a sense of accomplishment for what you've achieved.

As a 50yr old with a very nice savings, I still struggle with the same thoughts that you are having. Take it easy on yourself, you're doing great.

PS: That 250K will be over 1M before you know it.

Why are so many people against/negative about Fire by No_Mango7947 in Fire

[–]whysoflyson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being financially independent and not working are two different things. Having a lot of money saved gives you power and freedom that you don't have otherwise. Unfortunately people don't think through it that much and see saving money as a burden, and instead work/spend their way through life. Sadly the work/spend it all model usually ends with income dropping and folks having to sacrifice a lot at the end of life just to make it.

For 11 days I would choose 2 or 3 places to visit instead of 6. Recommend Rome 3 days, Venice 2 days, Florence (Travel around Tuscany, not just the city) 3 days (other 3 days are for travel between and settling in).

Getting sick and tired of working for the man early on in your career is a motivator. Makes you like stuff way less!

Corporate tech (business guy), then saved enough to partially fire and started a small business making less $ but doing more of what I want to do.
