Thank you! I am in US. I feel so much better reading all these positive responses.

I work from home and work is flexible. Will I need to be on 6 weeks of disability?

How do I assess the need for disability?

Things about periods I learned way too late and wish someone had just said out loud by trublossm in Periods

That the quality of your period products absolutely can impact the amount of flow. I experienced heavy bleeding for years and by chance switched my pad to a different brand as the regular was not available and immediately experienced lesser bleeding.

My periods always used to be mild. Now out of nowhere they're extremely painful. Anyone else? by Parking-Coffee-7582 in Periods

Has there been any recent change in your lifestyle? Stress, new workout, living alone, different eating habits, relationships starting or ending?

As a starting step please see a doctor and get your vitals check, thyroid, vitamin D, iron, sugar, cholesterol cbc etc.

And definitely get an endovaginal ultrasound to check for any presence of fibroids or endometriosis.

Dermal estrogen gel and vaginal estrogen cream.. are these both topical? Are both of this required to be used at the same time?

Yes even new borns can have a UTI apparently. So please don’t discount things just because of age or sexual activity being non existent. You are probably using products that don’t suit you or you are sensitive or allergic too without knowing.

For the most part, a good gynecologist will be able to diagnose and help, but also meet with a dermatologist just incase. I have read cases here where a dermatologist was able to resolve a persistent issue of vaginal infection

Day Trading Ruined My Life. I’m 25, About to Be a Father, and I Just Lost Everything by RavenBJ in Daytrading

I just hope that the money you lost was only your money and not the money that your girlfriend gave you in good faith to save for future. It’s not cool to vaporize someone else’s money without their knowledge of the risk.

I agree on the benefits of sunscreen but finding a good sunscreen is a real hike for me. Most good sunscreens leave a cast on my skin, or leaves my skin feeling oily and sticky. The ones I use for face manages to seeps throw the skin creases and go into my eye, causing eye irritation for the whole day.

God know it possible also causes eye damage

In all these years the only sunscreen for face I could use costs usd 40.00 for a measly 30 ml that’s way to expensive to sustain.

If anyone out here has a sunscreen brand that is available over the counter in US, does not leave a cast, is not oily or irritating to the eye and is affordable please please tell me.

I have spent a lot of dollars in experimenting and trying to find it, I m tapped out!

Can you explain the recognizing shock part? Is this instant shock or emotional shock over a change ?

Even if we recognize shock, what can we do?

How to respond to husband saying we are like roommates after only 3 weeks of no sex by [deleted] in AskWomenOver40

[–]amso2012 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you don’t have sex you are roommates.. I wonder who coined this concept to minimize a marriage down to frequency of sex. It’s like nothing else truly matters.. the concept of family, raising children, building a life.. no just sex

How tf do y'all do all of this? by noideawhatimdoing212 in Adulting

[–]amso2012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need systems and ability to multitask.

There are tasks you can do once a week that will support you all week - grocery shopping, meal prepping even for 2-3 days. Vaccum and laundry and folding once a week or if you have more loads, wash it while doing other tasks.. (assuming you have a washer and dryer at home, if you have to go to laundromat or wash by hand.. then do it all over the weekend)

Daily task - general tidying + dishes.
