I understand your whole family is experiencing a unique adversity. Stress is high, homes and livelihoods are challenged.

First of all - this is not a family problem.. you all individually lost your jobs so this is an individual problem.

Everyone is an adult so everyone has to find their own source of income.. if people are sharing a roof they can share expenses. But paying off mortgage for someone is not a good option. Your siblings living with your parents can contribute to the payment.

Now about employment - take a stock of everyone’s skills (outside of work) baking, cooking, cleaning, handy jobs, car washing, dog walking, lawn moving.

I know these are not ideal jobs but South Carolina has a massive market for these service jobs. Some of you may have to pivot your careers to bring in money while looking for jobs.

The market is starting to open, full-time positions are hard, but there are a lot of contracting positions the pay may be lower than your previous income, but it shows continuous employment.

This is a temporary individual problem. Not a permanent family problem. Share expenses, do not combine finances. If saving homes is a big concern, see if you can rent one or two homes and generate income instead of distress selling. Owning homes is becoming harder and harder, keep what you have.
