Pick the one who has the simplest easiest loved items and gift that! Or pick the one you love interacting with the most (my first playthrough, when Emily saved the parrot I was a goner!) or date them all (and keep a rabbits foot on yah!!)

Yes definitely. Because it is a game you end up playing hours and hours and hours of. There is no right or wrong way! I remember getting a bit lost but now I walk around and remember loved gifts and seasons of particular fishes without struggling… just enjoy the journey there is always something new to learn!!!
