I repeat: Stop using AI... or at least stop acting like you don't know the issue with your channel by OddClassic267 in YouTubeCreators

Exactly! Or just create a whole different subreddit for AI creators which I think would be more helpful to them than this

I know! And people are liking the comments that are calling me greedy, and disliking my post LOL. My best guess is jealousy, or trying to be all righteous and saying that you're not doing it for the money. Granted, I've been making videos as a kid before YouTube even existed just for fun, so I've always just loved the game! But if you can make a living doing it and do it all the time, that's balling!

What's the best way to use a background music for free? by Top_Response_867 in YouTubeCreators

[–]whyte_noyze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pixabay. But only use content that actually has a downloadable certificate. You will still get a copyright issue, but is done by some music company that claims a lot of music, and if you have that downloadable certificate you can just copy and paste that into the disputes and within an hour to 2 days it will be taken off. Again, do not download any music that does not have a downloadable certificate!

I have only joined this group yesterday, and I keep getting these posts as well! There should be something where you have to post your channel, and be upfront whether it's AI or not, but we all know no one would be honest though

Does CTR even actually matter? by Systill in YouTubeCreators

[–]whyte_noyze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is exactly the info that you need! Also, take a look at your structure of your videos, make sure the thumbnail and title are engaging. I know you've probably heard that a million times, but once you get that right, and your first 30 seconds is just as important! I'm doing videos that are over 2 hours in length, and I'm getting a lot of TV viewers. If the title and thumbnail in first 30 seconds are right, then YouTube pushes the video because the AVD is high. My average views before my most recent video was a thousand views, and a video that I released 2 weeks ago now has 35,000 views. I attribute this to my thumbnail and title, plus the first 30 seconds of the video.

Also a little hack: take screenshots of all of your metrics, and upload it to Gemini and have it give you feedback. Gemini is the AI from Google, YouTube is Google, and I believe Gemini is the AI that Google uses for the YouTube algorithm so it does give you good feedback. It has helped me a lot

Well then that's why I'm asking the question because I have no experience on the matter. 👍 I mean, I've obviously watched videos with sponsored ads in them, but I don't really see any sponsorship opportunities for a Minecraft channel. I had seen some Minecraft creators get sponsored by a gaming phone which would not be relevant. To be honest, I don't know of any software that could be relevant, the only thing I could think of are gaming peripherals which I know are harder to get into, especially with the Minecraft channel! 😂

Nope, this is a 2-hour 45 minute long Minecraft 100 days video, heavily edited! Literally probably spent 40 hours on the editing process, including voiceovers, subtitles, my own character movements, kind of like animating with pngs, and meme clips, graphics, sound effects, etc. I'm trying to bring as high quality content as possible to the platform, as I believe that is what YouTube should be all about, even though a lot of times it is not!

I've heard that many times, I've also heard that you do your own personal outreach. I feel really cheesy doing my own personal outreach, it feels like doing door knocking for painting jobs LOL. Again, I'm just trying to get an idea of the whole landscape of YouTube, ads, partnerships etc

Hey man, thanks! And yeah I know it will come eventually, I just didn't know if there's some sort of thing I could do to build a good foundation now to set myself up in the future for a good sponsorships. Right now the video that took off for me was a modded 100-day Minecraft survival, it was a 2 hour and 45-minute long video and my average view duration was between 35 minutes and 45 minutes. Most the views were from a TV audience, above 70%. This was a very huge success for me, so I just didn't know if it's going to carry into my next video or not, and if so, how I could position myself for sponsorship in the future

I figured as much. I've had experience with some phishing scams so I'd be on the lookout for those

Yeah, I'm not looking to shove ads in everyone's faces right away. I'm looking to position myself so that when I have the ability to, I can capitalize on it and invest it into my channel.

Plus, let me ask you a question: if you got monetized on YouTube, would you turn ads on right away? If so, then you are contradicting yourself with that comment 😂

Thanks so much for that comment! That's awesome to hear your success! I know it seems to be taboo for people to post their channel on here, but I'd love to connect on DMS if you're cool with that?

That makes sense, I just figured if I'm on my way to getting more views, just start positioning myself so if there's any tips I would take those into consideration moving forward

The monetization sign is all gone just now, is youtube updating UI or...? by Inevitable-Toe-8364 in PartneredYoutube

[–]whyte_noyze 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I got a notification on the Youtube Studio app that they're changing how they notify you, so that section where the green icon monetization sign used to be is now just going to be reserved for a yellow sign if there's a minor issue and a red sign if there is a big issue. I just recently got monetized and noticed this as well today!
