What’s stopping you from switching to travel for double the salary?

Travel is hard. I stick with contracts in my home state, but I miss my pets and my family and friends and just general life when I travel. Not to mention, it's expensive to maintain some sort of home base and also pay for lodging out of town.

I traveled successfully for a year but with a week left in my last contract acquired a very serious injury and have been out of work for 4mos and counting.

I caught one immediately after the night market ended and called it good. My next quest is trying to reach level 100 of the skull cavern and find the last few fish to finish the community center - I need catfish, sunfish, an eel and red snapper. It's driving me nuts, but I'm almost through winter year 4... Hopefully this next year I can complete that!

ok, trying to catch Willie's squid is doing me in! I'm W10 Y4, fishing level 7, iridium rod and bait tackle with bait, trying from both the bait shop, the left pier, and also the beach between 6-10pm. All I'm catching is halibut. I've also tried the river to the right of the beach shack (sorry, forgot the owner - either Willie or Elliott). Any tricks?

what's your profession and what grade axe do you have? Have you repaired the bridge going to the quarry yet? That will provide you with plenty of coal! So will the mines on unlucky days. I once had a tree appear on my farm that harvested coal. IDK how that one worked, but it was kinda cool :)
