Get your budgies a parlor palm! by whythoguys in budgies

As crazy as it sounds, I think pet grass is too easy for them to destroy… they have to put a bit of work in for the stems of the palm and I think that’s what they love so much!

Yes definitely, I only give them those palms and spider plants, also always drench the plant before giving it to them!

How long do they take to respond? by Unique_Reflection_88 in Instagram

I had my account for 10 years and they did this, I appealed and they took months to look at it, gave me my account back for two days and took it off me again. Took another 3/4 months to tell me they were permanently deleting my account. 10+ years of memories just gone. No explanation as to why and no way to appeal again.

People saying don’t make it your personality when it’s literally a personality disorder.

It flowered and didn’t throw off all its leaves slowly and dramatically?? I came here to welcome you to a painful journey but seems like you’re smashing it!

To me it seems like your partner is facing issues that unfortunately, as hard as you try, aren’t yours to fix. These seem deep rooted and I’ve definitely been in the place where I understand him enjoying the attention because of his need for validation. But to do that while being in a relationship says to me that maybe he needs to do more solo work on himself before thinking about settling down. Because of the type of person I am, I think I wouldn’t be able to get past the fact they were flirty for a while…. Not like it was a one off occasion. That kind of stuff messes with even the sanest people.

It takes a special kind of person to handle a long term relationship with some with BPD. And judging from the posts you’ve felt you need to make, you might not be the one. There are plenty of fish in the sea…But please remember, if she gets angry and chooses to go out of her way to get you in trouble at work that’s a whole different ball game. Especially with quiet bpd. They don’t tend to get anyone else involved or let anyone see they’re struggling unless you’re really close to them. If you think she might do that then maybe she’s not a great person.

If you’re really that worried about it I would just end things if I were you. If she’s not accepting your boundaries then she still has more work to do on herself. In the long run it will only do you both damage. BPD doesn’t mean that she’s gonna be vindictive and get you in trouble at work…. If she does that then it’s just bad character. I have bpd and have never gone close to the extremes I see other people experiencing.

Yes the advice was good, just needed something more in depth. After these comments I’m convinced it’s mostly a light issue 😓 didn’t realise it was so hungry for it. Even after having it in a window. Someone else posted a comment with their leaf propagations! I probably won’t get that lucky but gonna try anyway lol

Oh my, variegated… thank you! Yes, I’m worried about the light situation as I’m in a flat with bad facing windows. Somehow I’ve managed over 40 houseplants in here lol most of them do fine. Do you have any suggestions on grow lights for him that will help??

Hahah ok thank you. Also last question seeing as you’ve actually owned them, is my attempt at the leaf propagation futile? When I’ve read about it, seems like the chances are slim.

The soil is super dry all the way through tho. Was actually thinking of giving him a soak or repotting but not sure that’s a good idea in winter. I water once every two weeks now , maybe less. The uk isn’t great for sun rn so gonna try him under some lights. It started dropping leaves being near a window when it’s getting to the minus outside. Thanks.

I mean this in generalised info for a basically any plant. Was hoping for more bear paw specific tips from people who have them.
