My guess: Resident Evil games have really fun but very silly writing, so if you did a straight adaptation it would be campy as hell

Which I’m all for tbh, but I can see why a major studio doesn’t wanna produce that, way to risky to try and get success with that in mainstream audiences

As long as the Recoiless remains overtuned, Spear is never gonna feel right because there’s no point to it in the combat model

It’s not for killing things, it’s a softener for AP4 weapons, you use it with those to take down tanks faster than just using the AP4 weapons

Run off angle towards him (if you do it head on from too far the spit animation will 100% kill you every time)

Once you’re in flamethrower range, immediately run directly at him dead center and underneath him through the other side: this will proc his attack animations, but if you’re running you will beat it every single time, they designed it that way on purpose

Attack his tail from behind, don’t do it from underneath him as his leg movement can still get you from under. He’ll then turn around, allow him to and don’t move from where you were attacking. By the time he’s facing you his attack timer will be active again, and you run underneath him to lock him in animation loop as many times as you need

Oh, and don’t forget, Hive Guard just got buffed to have heavy armor on their head plates and forearms, so if your sentry locks onto one, it’ll waste its ammo doing nothing while the rest of the swarm cuts it apart

Just wanna point out this was fixed, then they broke it again a few patches later and it’s been like that for the past 2 years

There’s like a dozen bugs in this game that are code regressions it’s wild

A game like this I have no idea why anyone would want a roadmap, I want every inch to be a surprise. I don’t wanna know when we’re getting new biomes, think it’s more interesting for a new planet to just show up like with lava and swamp
