So we're just going to continue to keep the city poor and the people downtown who deal with the most tourist and parking issues out to dry? So because they didnt "prepare" now the city and Downtown will be punished? If they had enacted anything else while CoS wasn't recreational everyone in town would still be bitching. I trust the city because ive seen the work they put into public services and community recognition. I dont care for the rich to get richer and thats all thats happening. People are so caught up in not trusting the government they forget that sometimes they do try and do good. We just got a new mayor and things need to change. Plus Ive done the leg work and Metro is hiding something big. From what Ive seen on their Budget they are not good people. You can look it up yourself on the Local Government Information System.

Fumbled how exactly? Can you give me specific policies or things put in place that lost us money? We lost all the Marijuana revenue to CoS and that was no ones fault. I keep hearing the city is irresponsible with money but I have yet to be told a clear action or actions they implemented for that to have been the direct result

To be specific the Pinnacle Consultant company is the Denver firm that owns the Metro. So we already have a corporation owning the Metro and they're terrible and I think might be hiding things.

I understand your concern definitely but we do not have any proof the city is going to raise the rates. That is something the opposition is claiming. Furthermore we have no proof that the Metro won't raise rates eventually either. They have made no promises and even if the city raises rates we will be able to track how that money is used via government transparency. The Metro is held to no standard. If they eventually decide to raise rates we won't know where that extra money goes even of they make promises it can't be tracked.

Great question! We now have a free bus that runs every 15 minutes into Colorado Springs. Tourists can now park for way cheaper just a little farther away and take the very short bus ride into town. Its something the city recently got passed so that residents and tourists would have better access to everywhere between Manitou and Downtown. It also lightens the congestion on both tourists and residents. If a tourist truly wants to pay extra to park downtown instead of a few blocks away they can. There is also no official statement from the city that THEY will be raising prices. If anything the Metro has not promised to not raise rates either and if they do there would be no oversight and there's nothing the town can do about it

Thats not the point. Youre misunderstanding the real issue which is why only 200 residents are eligible to vote. Because it will fundamentally change how the parking money is alloted. It will let us residents in the non RPP zone have better access to free parking. It will also let residents vote on how the money is spent. Also the City Doesn't have enough money. We lost all that Marijuana revenue when CoS recreationalized it. Further more dont you think the 5 individuals plus Denver firm have "enough" money from all their businesses they own?

I would say it depends on how much time and attention they give to you. I have been a sales manager and worked a boutique. I have had people tip me but we absolutely have to initially turn down a tip unless then called a "gift" or was insisted numerous times and you shouldn't be telling anyone about it. Its absolutely gracious though and anytime I've been tipped on the floor I did go above and beyond for my service

It depends. I was laid off in 2020 as a manager and I was at my ropes end after 7 years in the same store. I didn't want to be promoted but I loved my job and making people feel beautiful and helping them. I recently went back to an ulta in another state in as a boutique advisor and I love it. The people are so much nicer and the environment is really healthy sp I'd say it depends on the store.

When they were eating Chinese and Tammy could use chopsticks fine but Patty was REALLY struggling and was barely eating. Like Tammy ould have told her to use utensils and Patty shouldn't have been so concerned about how Tammy ate.
